Fun, fast little car that leaves you wanting more

Owned the 2016 Focus St (ST1 Trim)for over a year. On the interior, the car is comfortable for me but if you are a big or tall guy, this car is not for you (im short). The interior shift position is great and the gauges add a feel that the car is fast. The steering wheel is very good and blind spots are not a problem in this car. I can only speak for the ST1 trim but the speakers are horrible. The audio system is sub par, cheap feeling plastic on center console and the interface and center console seems to be under-refined for a car with a current MSRP at this time of $24,000. On the exterior the car looks awesome but is always plagued by looking alike with its brother, the base model Focus. I got a lot of "oh its that a new focus?" and "You drive a focus" comments even tough its an ST. Ford needs to really separate this car and make it its own lineup. On the engine, the 2.0 Turbo accelerates fast and its a fun fast car to drive. By no means its drag worthy but a fun car to drive. There is a lot of aftermarket support if you look for power but a lot of money needs to be invested to make big numbers on these cars. Overall, a fun car that seats 4 realistically, or 5 if you want to cram the back...gets good gas mileage and has a solid platform. For the money, there is currently cars out there with more options and better standard equipment. Consider this car the Civic SI of FORD.

Fast and fun

This is the perfect sporty car if your looking for a brand new car at an affordable price. Not quite as fast as I thought it would be based on it's advertised 252 hp but fun none the less. Push button start is in an awkward location behind the wiper cluster and lack of interior space are my only complaints so far. Would like to keep it a few years before I comment on it's reliability.

Would never buy again.

Have had nothing but problems. Uncomfortable to drive after awhile. Continues to have transmission problems and electrical issues. Do yourself a favor and run from this vehicle. Very unsatisfied. A

An absolute beauty

This is the perfect blend of sport car and practical daily driver. It is a hoot to drive, is amazing on fuel, and is very reliable. The car for the price is one of the better deals on the market currently.

Fun, Practical and Affordable

If you are looking for a car that is a joy to drive, won't break the bank and has enough room for five, your search is over. The Ford Focus ST is quick, really quick. It has road respect, amongst car fans, and will serve you well fetching groceries. I've owned the car for 8 months now and it has served me well. Two things to consider with the ST: The factory tires aren't very sticky, use them up and get some better rubber. Two, if you plan on driving the car in the winter get an extra set of rims (size -1) and good snow tires. The last thing to consider is that the ST appears to have excellent resale value. I was considering a 2 year old model, but if you time it right, you can get a new one for about the same price.

Worst car I've ever owned.

This vehicle is probably the worst car I've ever owned, within 10 months of owning it, it has been in the shop 7 times and counting. Worst thing about it is that I keep going in for the same problem and all they keep doing is resetting the check engine light because Ford doesn't know how to fix this problem. I would not recommend this car to anyone, plus if your trying to contact their main office in Dearborn, MI you will be very disappointed because their customer service sucks, especially Heather and Phedra the "regional managers".

Most fun little car I've had

The Focus ST isn't going to win you a bunch of drag races, but it's going to put a smile on your face as you row through the gears and head down windy roads.
