The V6 Mustang is no Slouch

When in the market for a muscle car, most people wouldn't consider a V6. However, the V6 Mustang delivers excellent performance with good fuel economy at a great price. This is a great choice for a younger driver who wants something capable and sporty but doesn't quite have the pocket book for the V8.

Best engine ever made by Ford

Wonderful car, real muscle car, design and performance with excellent MPG (21 cruise road)for a V8 with 420 hp.

Drop the top and enjoy.

This is a fun, quick and reliable car. It has six cylinders, over 300 HP and gets great gas mileage. Can't beat this combination.

Flashy and cool, but maybe not practical

I've had this car for about two years and am the second owner. I really love the car but find that it isn't very economically practical. Gas mileage isn't great, it slips and slides on wet roads very easily. It is fast for a six cylinder and flashy but maybe not the best bang for your buck

BOSS 302

Car comes well handling and fast from factory. However, if one is inclined to further the handling and performance, there are plenty of aftermarket parts available. I've gotten my BOSS to drive and handle better than the Laguna Seca version! Recaro seats are great too. I owned a 13' GT premium, and there is NO comparison. The BOSS is such a different animal!

2013 Shelby GT500

After spending the last 18 months dreaming about a 2013/2014 Shelby GT500 (reading all the mag reviews, youtube videos, etc) I finally decided to pull the trigger and buy one. I've owned it for a little over a month now and I still get a big smile every time I look at it. Performance, accelleration, exhaust note, etc. is every bit as outragous as you would expect from a 662hp vehicle. The handling takes a bit of getting used to with the solid rear axel (a first for me) and traction control that allows quite a bit of unintentional (or intentional) wheel spin before stepping in means you have to always be paying attention. Outward visibility to the sides and rear is not great and it is tough backing up in a crowded parking lot (no backup camera offered). The interior looks good but the marterials are not up to par with German cars as there is hard plastic everywhere and the leather quality on the Recaro seats is not the best. Backseats are also small, but I can fit 2 car seats for the kids back there just fine (not ok for adults over 5 feet tall for more that short distances). Overall I can easily forgive the shortcomings because this car sounds so good, is so overwhelmingly powerful and fun to just be around. Oh and you WILL get lots of attention everywhere you go in this car, if you like to fly under the radar should prob pass on a Shelby and spend your $50k on something a little more common like a Corvette or Porsche.
