The pony car for today

I love my 2018 Mustang GT. The one I have has the 10 speed automatic transmission and the traditional suspension (non-magna-ride). I think that the newer mustangs are above the competition because of the technology that Ford used for the Power-train as well as in the cabin. The Mustang is the only Modern (non-push rod) V8 engine American pony car out there, and it rides and handles so well that It is really more on par with import sports cars. Also in the 6 months I have been daily driving it I have not had any issues with it and it get's better gas mileage than I expected for a V8 car that makes 400+ HP (about 20 MPG combined in my case).

Engine is the sweet spot

The engine is what makes this car loud, fast and high revving. I found it to be a bit heavy in the corners...so I added 20 inch rims, wider tires and lowered it 3/4 of an inch...and BOOM..it handles awesome. I have performance pack 1 and really stock it is not hard edged enough if you want to run through the turns at high speed. Mine is a convertible though.

Best all around sports car I ever owned

This is made for me. I am an empty nester who doesn't need a back seat but can haul three bails of pinestraw or nine pavers in a snap. The trunk has a lot of room and the front seats are fine. A little low but much better than the 3 Corvettes I have owned (1996-1999-2005). This is a four cylinder EcoBoost and sounds great with MagnaFlow mufflers and a resonator delete Y pipe (50 state legal-no change to emissions equipment). Also a K&N high flow air filter was added. Tons of fun to drive and gets 20 MPG in the city (I don't drive long distances) but 29 MPG on one highway trip. This is a beautiful car with a 10 speed automatic. Life is great.

An absolute treat to own and drive.

This auto makes me feel 40 years younger and 40 pounds lighter!! It has all of the levers and buttons to drive itself. I travel a lot and it is a pleasure to be in for hours at a time.

Fun to drive

Love mustangs! Have had many in the past. First one in 1964. I’ve had almost every model they have produced over the years. Appreciate the dealership for finding this one for me.
