2019 Bullitt Mustang - Very Happy even w/hiccup

Considered all 3 OEM - US car manufacturers. Did not dislike the hi-powered Challengers or the Camaro. Both nice car's that hav poor visibility. Would likely not hav cared in my 20s. Now I wanna to see what I might hit. The MUSTANG GT has visibility & was on the list to look at in a Premium version w/PP1 & Magnetic Ride Suspension. Covid hit & we found a Bullitt priced well below MSRP. Bought and love nearly everything about it. Starting w/interior, its everything I need & maybe a bit more. ( possibly my expectations are not at there highest hear, but w/2 bk surgeries i can drive it much longer than any other "car" I hav had.) The cars posture & comfort was a pleasant surprise, as usually SUVs & Trks were where I had to live for yrs before this over distance drives. I drive a car like this a bit hard & aggressive (off road) as we like to find a performance veh. weaknesses, so I know to some degree its limits. "Offroad of coarse" @ 480hp <up high> @7000 Rpms, the Throttle response is purposely slow w/drive by wire technology, (a Saftey feature keeping unseasoned drivers out of crowds after coffee, im sure). @ least this can be fixed if u chose w/ adding a qwiker pedal response module. Its German designed/Chinese built Manual 6spd Tranny (no auto option avail on the Bad A$$ Bullitt) is a bit "notchy" in shift pattern and doesnt like to be treated like a "cheap date". Smooth, slightly articulate shift motions w/its stock shift linkage is required, ( u can replace w/upgraded shifter linkage, as its not a 'Muncie M22 Rock Crusher' style shift linkage that likes to be put in gear like ur Hulk Hogan on steroids. Stability & traction control are there for your safety. It removes a bit if the cars real hp feel, yet Id recommend you use them properly & on the public roads daily. I continue a little at a time to push the limits w/o them on in an 'off road' setting only, but on road U need to use the safety features provided. Not sure I can hands down say the Bullitt is worth the $52k sticker price-loaded, But.. at anything more that 10% back of MSRP, loaded, its a great car for vs price point if you want an "overall" late mdl hot rod w comfort that is quite relaxing inside and & has natural beaty outside w/no Front end grille or side fender badges barking at you what Ford has built. It is not 'BMW or AMG type' car thats bith costly on purchase day & inflated financally to maintain & upkeep. Whether it be tires/brakes/ Oil changes -- (The 308" cubic inch power plant in the '19 Bullitt requires 10 quarts of mtr oil, so its not as cheap as cheap tin can economy cars). Id rather hav the 10 qrt capacity than 4 or 5 qrts of rypical cars of this category from our past. It is 480hp- 7400 rpms revving *Bullitt*, & deserves the respect it commands and exudes on 93 octane fuel which we strongly recommend. Lastly. I did mechanically hurt our cars Eng very early on, which is very rare for this eng design thats solid. Warranty tk care of it. Runs hard & corners well for its $$$. You can't out drive its ability "legally" so no use trying. Dont buy a Bullitt unless you want to ROW THRU GEARS w/manual 6 spd tranny. Wouldn't own this car any other way than 6spd... Fords A10 auto is good so dont be afraid of it. If I didn't buy a Bullitt Id hav considered a loaded GT 10 spd Auto. Car Gets looks & verbal attention mostly from the above ~40 crowd. Young folk hav no idea what, or who Frank Bullitt is - or was, to the 50 yr Anniversary nod. Its a Limited Edition for '19/'20 & you can no longer order 1 new, now. I wouldn't trade it for the Naturally Aspirated Camaro or Challenger if I could at zero loss. I made the right choice for myself. Buy Fords ESP extended warranty from a dealer online like Flood Ford. There likely cheapest vs ur local dealer - Awesome digit. dashes are cool yet may not go a long time. Plenty of aftermarket parts to make car qwiker/ handle better. Bought what I needed for pleasure driving & can likely live w/ it as is for a while stk. If you want a racecar...buy or build 1. I hav several. This is my street car w/AC. Hav a Non A/C 650hp Naturally Aspirated Trk thats also fun in nice weather. Dont expect any car to do EVERYTHING well under $300k. This car does exactly what we wanted @under $45k OTD Due-diligence- test drive. Buy what U like. I love the Bullitt Mustang in Dark Highland Green loaded. Lives up to the hype !@!

Bang for the buck

I had GM products and never gave Ford a chance. A friend urged me to look at the new GT. First stop to dealer I drove this one home. What did it for me was the entire car was balanced. Excellent lines and design exterior with a deep rich paint. With 305/35/19 and custom wheels on all four! The PP2 Mustang is a powerhouse, not over powered but perfect match to structural setup with frame, suspension and balanced weight of car. You can throw this car around and get wild as you want without the fear of losing control. Interior had just as much packed into it as the last two CTS-V Cadillacs I owned (both were over 800hp) and the Mustang PP2 is much more fun and comfortable to drive. Power everything is pretty cool for the price point. Overall I have no idea how Ford was able to build such a good looking car, well balanced, easy to handle with amenities as they did at the price point. It has been such a blast to own this Mustang. The reason I’m writing this is the listing limited me on 2000 words so using this to expand the experience. I spent $1800 having it clear wrapped using Expel brand which is thicker than 3M and better at rocks. The are no dings in paint. I paid another $2000 for wheel coverage, break and get curb rash they repair or replace under 7 year warranty. Also paid for windshield warranty, same deal replace with warranty no out of pocket other than small deductible, I think it’s like 5% of the replace cost. The PP2 package is $10k worth of add-ons over the stock GT! I’m only selling because my interest have changed. Need the room. Whether you buy mine or another I’d be glad to give you an unpressured look at the GT PP2. Note: never tracked or raced and no mods. Original setup but track ready.

Most fun car to drive since i was 16 years old!

Great agile car. This is a Shelby Cobra Super Snake, 840 hp, so much fun. I am 64 years old now, so its a thrill to drive it.

Very Fun to Drive Car

My Mustang Bullitt is my Cinderella car. Sporty yet comfortable, powerful yet economical. I love it! It sports a classic white cueball-style shift knob and symphony-like exhaust sound! It drives like a dream! Frankly, it’s a fantastic car for the money!

Excellent car just needs 2 more doors for the fam!

Love this car I just wish it had more room for when my family wants to all go out in it. Plenty of power and all the options you could ask for.

Recommend do not buy from Carvana

Car pretty cool, but rear windows do not close properly for a convertible... My opinion and experience: Carvana disappoints BIG TIME in after-purchase customer service for obvious responsibilities.
