2010 Ford Ranger consumer reviews

Compared to my 1996 long bed Ford Ranger I sold, this is junk. As the whole USA notices, the CHEAP Ford logos on the exterior of the vehicles all wear off, both front and back. How disgraceful. On the interior, the arm rests on both doors, the finish is coming off in chips. No unusual wear and tear, but just coming off in bits, it looks terrible. My rear view mirror has desilvered (a flaw in the glass, CHEAP glass). It has started at the middle of the bottom and is working it's way up the mirror. The CHEAP trim around the door windows on the interior has cracked, the black rubber trim on the bottom of the rear window slider fell off, etc. etc. etc . . . The gear shifter(it is an automatic) became misaligned the letters did not line up with the gears, and had to pay bookoo bucks to repair. My 1996 was in better shape, when I sold it than this one is now. I only have 55K miles on my truck and it is immaculate, but I cannot fix all the core items that should be of quality in the first place.

Great little truck that is just as fun a daily commuter as it is a workhorse or off-roading dune slayer.

I am very happy. Although this was a used-vehicle purchase, it exceeded all of my expectations. I'm very tall, and was concerned I would not be comfortable. I am VERY comfy in this truck

Didn't like the color at first but now it really looks sharp. Totally satisfied with truck and deal.

This is a basic truck. No fluffy stuff. Just a truck. I owned it since it was new. I have had no problems what so ever with it.

2010 Ford Ranger has been a great investment! 2.3 L 4 Cylinder runs great and passes a lot of filling stations!

Just a good solid vehicle very useful don't have to pay the premium for the Toyota name but get basically the same quality

I'm now the proud owner of a gently used 2010 Ranger XLT 4X4. This is my 4th Ranger and since Ford won't sell them in the US anymore......... my last. Too bad, I think there's still a need for a new small pickup in the Ford lineup. The truck looks and runs fine and gets 22 mpg on the highway. What's not to like?

Where to start...My 2000 XLT was dependable and comfortable...The 5 speed manual was replaced several times in 9 years, but otherwise it was a great truck...So were the "94 and "90 XLT's...Only major problem was the transmissions...Fast forward to 2014....While perusing cars.com, I found what I was looking for 4 states away...After several calls to the dealership and a road trip of 1,666 miles, I bought another one...I am now the proud owner of a 2010 Ranger Sport...It has significant upgrades in performance and safety features...Also has 4 wheel drive, 4 wheel disk brakes, satellite radio and a killer paint job....I plan on driving it for a long, long time.. P.S. I drive for a living.
