Overall, if you're looking for a step above any Mustang,

Overall, if you're looking for a step above any Mustang, this is it. But you have to understand what you're buying. The 5.2 Voodoo engine is an engineering masterpiece, no other Ford engine sounds close to it. It is a review happy engine, but you need to put your head in that of a racing driver, not a regular commuter. Oil level, temperature and pressure are all items that need to be checked prior to ringing out this motor for all its goodness. The suspension is harsh compared to a typical Mustang, but it's liveable. These cars were only offered in a 6 speed manual, so that "automatically" removes it from many people's lists. All in all, it's a driver's car, it's special and if you understand that and get the chance to drive one, you won't be sorry.

Incredible driving experience!

A blast to drive. A definite value for the performance. For the money, only wish Ford applied a little more attention to the interior quality.

One of the best driving experiences I’ve had!

I would recommend any car enthusiast get behind the wheel of a Shelby GT350R! There is a very notable difference between the standard GT350 and the R model when it comes to power to the tires and drive feel. It is every bit of a race car as Ford claims and more.

So far it’s a head turner

I traded my Corvette for the GT 350 and I have no regrets. My Corvette I purchased new in 06 and I only had 34000 miles on it. Never had a problem. Only change the oil, battery and tires.

The GT350 is exactly what I was looking for

I went through 3 different brands and models to land on the GT350. I started with the Challenger Hellcat, but found the interior to be extremely plain. It had a great exterior, but inside the cockpit, was way too boring for me. Next up was the Maserati Gran Turismo, which was the very opposite of pony/muscle cars, but unique enough to explore. What killed the deal for me was the super high insurance. Then I got lucky enough to see a GT350 locally in person. I immediately fell in love. The look of the car is perfect from every angle. I also wanted a very specific package which included the leather seats, the shaker sound system and heated/cooled seats. I checked the rival seats but those were very u comfortable for my back - I have wide shoulders. I couldn’t imagine getting in and out of those seats all the time. On the track, I bet they are great, but regular driving, no thanks. I guess the only thing I wish for is a better layout of the entertainment system. The one we have in the 2018 wrangler is awesome! It’s really easy to use, and has a nice layout. The one in the 2017 350 kinda sucks. It works, but it’s a bit lame. Overall, the car is awesome. Lots of power, sounds great, very comfortable. I’m glad I saved up for it.

Wonder Car, Fast Fun

The GT350 is an incredible car that I am forced to part with because I can no longer shift gears. It is the classic GT350 white with blue stripes. It is very fast on the track with wonderful handling. I have instructed Driver's Education at Thompson, Lime Rock, Palmer and Watkins Glen. It is the best track/street car I have been in. That includes all Porsche models, Miatas, Camaros, and Vets. Nothing has the combination of speed and good manners. It is also an extremely comfortable daily driver on the highway. Uber in every way.

Great handling and best driver-car connection.

I own 2019 Shelby GT350 which have major upgrades including 2nd gen Voodoo engine improvements. Engine on my car doesn't consume any oil. I think it's more partain to 2016-2018 models. Also, a lot of people drive they cars too hard without proper warm up of the engine and other components of the car. Redlining engine without proper warm up leads to premature parts wear, thuse failure of the engine. I love this car for its handling and driver-car-road connection. The GT350 reminds me my dream car BMW M3 E93. BMW is not producing M models as they used to. But Ford Performance does. This is why I purchased this beautiful car.
