Super clean and worth the price

I'm definitely interested in buying a GMC Acadia. I fell in love with the Acadia and am definitely in the market to buy one.

So far I am loving this vehicle

I have owned this vehicle for about a month now and everything seems to be going great! The interior is very nice and for a 2008 SLT-2 trim, it has everything I need amd more! It is very comfortable and and smooth ride. I am missing my get up and go from driving a Chevy pickup with a 350 engine previously but this vehicle still getse up to speed decently. I am averaging about 18.4 mpg which is a huge improvement for me.

Family vehicle

I have the SLT-1 Edition with red leather interior and it is fully loaded. This car is good for a family.

Best vehicle I've owned so far!

This Acadia was the very first new vehicle I purchased. I fell in love with the interior space, towing capacity and overall style. I loved being able to have 8 family members in the vehicle at once, especially when we drove home (Texas) for our family reunions and PCSing as a military family. I had this vehicle for 9 years and am finally upgrading to something new. If I could buy this exact vehicle in a 2017 instead of 2008, I would!

Buyer Beware....Seriously!!!!

Fell in love with the Acadia when I rented one to drive to San Diego. Loved everything about it so found a used 08 for 17K and bought it. At first it was wonderful then things went really really wrong. My husband was smart to buy the extended warranty (as some rude person pointed out to do with a used car) so we used it to replace the water pump and a myriad of other very large mechanical issue. Then our first rain, the sunroof leaked and flooded my car. Took it in and GMC cleared the drains for the 2nd time since the sunroof leaks regardless. Still leaks and floods my car every time it rains. Gears started shifting hard and acceleration went way down. Cannot roll passenger windows down from drivers controls, dash lights are 50% on, remote locking system 20% reliable, etc. Now at 140k we have been told by GMC it will cost 7k to fix. Its only worth 7k. Selling for $2500 to get rid of it and start from square one, $30,000 later.

Sunroof leaks!!!

If you get this SUV get it without the sun roof!!! They leak every time it rains, your car floors and ceiling panel will get soaked. We have cleaned the tubes that drains the panel but still if it rains for a long period or really hard it will still leak.

Ashbaugh

We bought our 2008 Acadia in 2015 and the after 3 months the transmission went out, we found there was a recall and we got it fixed. Now it's 2017 and we just found out the transmission is going out in it yet again and GMC said since we got it fixed the first time that they could not help. We are going to have to shell out and have it replaced again and once we do that we are trading it in.

Best looking car I've owned

Perfect for my family of 7! I recently purchased a used Acadia SLE. Up until now, climbing seats in suv's and mini vans was the norm. This crossover makes me feel like a stylish soccer mom on the go. Seats comfortably and smooth ride. A little extra storage would be nice, but it's an opinion, not a complaint. Definitely recommend.

Stay Away from this car

100,000 miles transmission had to be replaced, 120,000 Engine had to be replaced, Sunroof leaked and cost $800.00 to repair, Nav and DVD quit at 70,000 miles, Rear air broke at 80,000. $10,000.00 in repairs!! if you buy one of these you better have a deep bank account.
