Reliability kills this car

Ride is great. The large wheels and strong suspension make driving horrible Michigan roads bearable. Engine is under powered and prone to sludge. Timing chain is weak and gives out around 120,000 miles. Feel is great, though.

Worst car/suv Ive ever owned will not buy any GMC

This vehicle is always in the repair shop. you never know whats going to go wrong on it and it will give you no warning. I have always bought Chevy vehicles new and used and I have never had the problems that I have had with this vehicle

Big family vehicle, requires alot of maintenance.

Very stylish and roomy. Mechanically it is made for parts to wear out quickly, even with recommended factory maintenance and upkeep. More show than reliable.

Best SUV for Busy Sports Mom

The Acadia is the best SUV for a busy sports mom. Perfect to fit all your kids gear and room to fit extra kids for car pooling. Great Road trip vehicle as well for comfortable ride and the gas mileage is not bad compared to Full Size SUV's or V8. This is my 4th GMC SUV and favorite mom mobile alternative to a minivan.

Wonderful car for our family

This car has been great for our family of four. We have driven it on vacation several times. The kids love that they can lay the seats down in various positions on the trips and watch DVD's. The driver appreciates the radio and cruise controls on the steering wheel and the blue tooth hands free phone safety convenience. We purchased this vehicle with only 15,000 miles and have loved it through the rest of its miles. It has never been in an accident, and it has been in a garage since day one - the previous owners took great care of it too. Oil changes have been done every 3-4,000 miles.

1st and last fix I will buy

This truck seemed to have everything i wanted. It was beautiful and drove well. Had lots of comfy features, but I can't seem to get the check engine light to turn off. I fix one thing and the next day it is something else. I've had more issues with this truck than any truck I've ever owned. On our recent trip we felt our truck with over 200k miles on it was more reliable than this one. Now the air broke and it's 2700 dollars to fix. Trading it in tomorrow. Mechanically this thing is junk, not made to last.

Fanciest car I have ever owned

I love the styling of this car.....i bought it for the wife. We came from a Chevy Cruze and it was way too small. I wanted her in a mid-size suv and this fits the bill. We have plenty of room for our family and it has lots of creature comforts.
