Great SUV

We were looking to go to something other than a minivan and chose this SUV. Plenty of room, power and options. The only neg. is the in town gas mileage! We haven't taken a road trip yet but will update!

My husband and I are seniors. We are finding that the amount of amenities in the vehicle are a little overwhelming.

Great Vehicle!

We absolutely love our new Acadia. It has everything on our wish list, including the 3rd row back seat. It's a comfortable ride no matter what seat you're in, and there is plenty of leg room even in the 3rd row. I highly recommend this SUV!

Needs more repair than a $500 clunker

We bought our Acadia new in 2014 it's been nothing but issues every since. From brakes rotors fuel gauge sensor (because it ran out of gas and left us sitting at 13,273 miles showing it had gas ) instrument cluster because the sensor didn't fix it and finally we gave up on that one. Window strip replacement strut mounts and bushing replacement at 24,000 miles tail light replacement due to water leaking inside headlight replacement new tires at 25000 miles and my transmission has never shifted right had it to the garage several times and still the same and now to top it all off struts are making the piping noise again and brakes and rotors pulsating again so I guess every 20,000 miles prepair for major issues with this vehicle. It's a shame to pay so much for what you think is going to be a nice vehicle I guess gm doesn't build quality vehicles they've lost this customer buyer beware unless you like costly repairs and living at the garage this is not worth your money. I absolutely loved this vehicle when we purchased it and I still love the looks and interior but all that's not worth the problems

Preformed Very Well in Head on Collison

I am a mother of 3 and had a 2014 GMC Acadia SLT for about 8 months when I was hit head on. I broke my foot pushing the brake peddle but my 2 year old was not harmed at all. Not even a bruise. Approximate 80 mph impact. Air bags deployed perfectly. Car took the hit well. I felt like I had a very safe vehicle after seeing how it handled that head on collison. I will be searching for another GMC Acadia as a replacement. I can't say enough about how well this vehicle handled in that type of collision. Very proud to have had a GMC!

Everything you'd want in a SUV

Huge, comfortable interior in SLT trim, but handles like a smaller vehicle. Good looks, quiet ride, with significant towing capacity. Great buy on GM's certified used program.

Extremely Unsatisfied!

We leased a 2014 GMC Acadia Denali and have had nothing but problems since 6 months after leasing it. It has been in for service 14+ times. Ten of those times was for the service airbag light, they told us it was because of the passenger seat belt. The other 4 were because I needed new brakes and rotors, but they would never listen to use. I had to drive it in unannounced one day with it making a loud banging noise and shaking the whole vehicle. I now no longer have air conditioning. The last time I had it in for the airbag light I mentioned it and they said that there is nothing wrong with it and that the freon level is where it should be. It started with just the front not blowing. After I took my daughter out of the car yesterday after a short, maybe 15 minute ride, I quickly learned that the back is no longer bowing as she was completely soaking wet with sweat and looked like she didn't feel well. There is something wrong with my gas tank, maybe it's the float, I don't know. But one minute I could have a full tank, then next I am down to 3/4 tank, that is too much of a jump to happen that fast. I contacted GMC, got as high as the district manger, waited a month, only to get the call today that there is nothing that they can do to help me and that it is not their problem. What makes it worse is that my husband's grandfather worked for GM for decades until he retired. We have been buying GM vehicles for years, I dont think we will ever buy from them after this experience!

Love My Denali!

I absolutely love my 2014 Denali, leasing it and most likely will purchase when lease is up. I love the projection screen the most. If the 2017 doesn't have it then I will be staying with my 2014. This is such an easy vehicle to drive in every way. The backup camera is awesome as is the lane control system. I have no complaints and love my Denali!
