2019 Canyon Denali.
2019 Canyon Denali. All sorts of bells and whistles, several that I don't really need. Biggest complaint: no memory seats and no Homelink garage opener. Ridiculous. What accountant made that decision?

Impressive Off Road Performance
Have a 19 4x4 SLT Short Box. Lifted 4" w/ 20" rims and decent all purpose tires. With the relatively short wheelbase and the slight lift, I've never had a 4WD that handles everything so easily, including the worst mountain trails. Have owned for 3 years now and have not had any problem other than a dead battery. The interior is average, but in a utility/4WD that gets mud, dog fur and camping fallout, who cares. My prior SUV was an 04 Avalanche 4x4. Cool truck but bad gas mileage and impossible to park in tight city lots. The Canyon is perfect size, easy to handle and with a couple minor mods pushes 350 hp.

Comfortable, but still a truck
A small truck with great utility, but still smooth to drive. Accelerates nicely. No problem in traffic or to park. My first GM, but probably not my last. I wanted smaller and diesel. GM provided.

Love my 2019 Canyon V6 SLE
Bought this truck new in 2019. It came down to me test driving it then test driving a 2019 Taco. Trust me for nearly the same size v6 the Taco was underpowered. In no way could it compare to my Canyon in ride or performance. Also the best mileage you can get with a Taco on the highway is 19mpg and it's a smaller truck. I can get anywhere from 27 to 29 in my canyon because it will turn off 2cyl on the highway when you're coasting. This is an awesome truck and I'm happy I didn't listen to my friends.

The "Baby" Duramax is great
This baby 2.8L Duramax is much quieter than one would expect. While it won't throw you into the back of the seat it drives along just fine and rolls at highway speed with no issues. MPG is so very good and the ride and style are pleasing. Next generation should have Home link garage door opener , keyless pushbutton start, power seatback, memory seats Small issues, but would normally be on the Denali. Overall it is a great truck that fits in my garage.

It is working out good so far.
After searching lots of specs on Toyotas, Nissan, Chevrolets and GMC I settled on this model and year. I so far like how it is easy to park. It has ample leg room for the driver [I am 75" tall]. It holds the curves nice[I live in the mountains]. It has nice interior lighting for night driving. The seat is comfortable but could use a bit more springs in the driver seat. It is more powerful than my old 5.7 liter Chevy. This is 3.6 liter so I expect good gas mileage. That '98 Chevy averaged 21mpg, xxxx good I thought. This is not by any means a work truck. I did not get it to haul firewood nor pull a trailer. I've no doubt it could pull a 2 ton trailer easily. With snow tires on it I feel it will go up my road just as good or better than the Chevy. Where I live 160" snow is normal for a season. Overall I'd say its worth every dollar it cost.

GREAT PICKUP WITH PLENTY OF LEGROOM!
I had a Honda Ridgeline which I loved--except that it didn't have enough legroom. I'm 6'2" and my legs would cramp on a long trip. The Canyon solved that problem and has some other very nice features including Apple Car Play, remote tire pressure indicator and low pressure warning and an automatic setting on the 2WD/4WD switch. I'm very happy with this pickup!

Classy 4 X 4
So far this truck has exceeded my expectations. The Duramax is smooth as silk, trans shifts great and the vehicle handles great at higher freeway speeds.

Perfect size truck for my needs
This vehicle suits my needs. I am going from a 3/4 ton diesel truck to a canyon. I can maneuver it around ton easily and still haul my kayak and transport what I need to and from my camp.
