2017 GMC Sierra 1500 consumer reviews

I loved my 2000 GMC so I had to get a new one .. a 2017. Shifting has been rough after the first 9 months or so. Another year later and second time in shop after replacing parts. Acts like its misfiring and actually stopped me dead in my tracks with my foot on the gas. I guess I now have a love/hate for GMC.:( everything else is great!

This vehicle meet all my needs for towing my travel trailer. Inside, this GMC is quiet and spacious. It offers a lot of driver assistance features and comes with a user-friendly infotainment system

Exceeded my expectations. Loaded with options and comfortable ride. Huge difference from my old truck. Happy with the purchase and like what GMC has done with the Sierra.

The interior and exterior are in excellent condition. It is easy to drive, has lots of interior storage spaces, is very comfortable on long trips, has plenty of power to spare.

This truck is great for my needs so fare I love it. I would have loved to get a brand new truck but the price of this truck you can beat. I was looking for a truck with low miles and a low sticker price and to me got them both. Thanks everyone for make this a great experience for me.

Ride, engine, interior, is very good. The shifting coasting in drive line is terrible. Have the dealer check it out, ride with me and he knows what I talking about but does not know how to fix it.

Relatively quiet for a truck. Pretty smooth, they have come a long way with riding in a truck. It accelerates quickly and maintains a smooth ride.

Extremely rough shifting 8 speed transmission. They just put in some synthetic transmission oil while in for service. Why did GMC not inform customers that the transmission is having problems? I asked my service advisor 2 years ago about the rough shifting and I was told it’s just the way the transmission works. Now GMC is changing the transmission oil to a synthetic to help salvage what’s left of the transmission. Not impressed!
