We custom ordered our 2021 Denali.
We custom ordered our 2021 Denali. The entertainment system was glitchy from day 1. A lifter in the engine failed at 45,000 miles, leading to a 5 week repair. For an 85,000 vehicle less than 3 years old, that’s pathetic. You’re better off buying a foreign vehicle. We went with the Mercedes GLS450.

3 years with a loaded 2021Yukon Denali deisel
I own a 2021 Yukon Denali with 23K. At nearly $90k, I purchased every option except for the silly entertainment screens fastened to the back of the front seat headrests. (nice for leaving the imprint of your passenger's faces on the screen in an accident - buy a couple of iPads. First of all, kudos to GM engineers. Technology actually exceeds German cars I've owned. Rear view camera is GREAT and adjustable for brightness, distance and width. But, make sure you purchase the washer for the rear lens...Miirror is almost unusable in rain..(blurring with rain and dirt quickly. I'm 6'2" and really ticked-off there isn't a handle on the "A" pillar to grab to pull into the driver's seat. They put a handle at the upper center of the door opening. What is that for? I have to grab the steering wheel (fortunately rigid with the engine off). Another big problem is the loss of both knees in a frontal accident. With the steering wheel all the way back, I can't even come close to stretching my leg out. Really! A couple of bigger issues: I know the front of this vehicle is right off of the truck, but the end result of the gigantic, unsloped hood, is the inability to see anything 12 feet in front of you. And making right turns.....better memorize that curb before you start your right turn because you won't see it again. Just "that look " from your wife as you run over the curb again with your right rear wheel. Lastly, I hope someone from GM reads this.....With all the awesome high-tech items on this car, why are there no "turn" lights? You know, the lights that let you see where you're going, especially right turns. Porsche has LED lights designated for turns that light up the whole area you're turning into. In the Yukon at least I'll see what I ran over with the terrific rear view mirror! My only intermittent mechanical annoyance is when I push the door handle to lock the doors. It's supposed to fold the mirrors in which is a good way to check you locked the vehicle. occasionally , they don't fold and I have to push the button 4 times. Of course, the mechanic needs only to push the button till it works and tell me it's working. Twice. Guess they win. I'll live with it. Now for the rest: Fantastic overall vehicle! With the air suspension it rides better than Mercedes or Lexus. I always get positive remarks from passengers. The steering wheel control for the Active Cruise control is absolutely perfect. I've driven between Arizona and Colorado without taking my hands off the wheel (just moving my thumb). And the engine, I LOVE THE INLINE 3.0 DIESEL! Almost got the 6 liter but took a chance on the diesel that just came out (in 2021). Same exact torque as the V8 and great for passing. The big difference ..... I had to take a photo of my dash to prove to my friends....heading back to Phoenix with 256 miles on the odometer averaging 30.2 mpg going the speed limit! My Porsche Cayenne gets 19.6mpg (not going the speed limit). The 9 cameras help when parking unless your wife is with you. When I come to a stop I'm waiting for my wife to hold up the 1 to 10 signs like the judges in the olympics. And lastly, For a car that will raise 5" in 4 low, why does the car come with 1 ply polyester sidewalls ? I'm not comfortable on gravel or rocky roads for fear of a sidewall puncture. I highly recommend this vehicle. The designers did a great job making this big vehicle look sleek and smaller than it is. I'm a bit unnerved when I see a vehicle like mine come flying into a parking spot for a perfect 4-point landing and the driver is a 110 lb soccer mom. And I just spent 20 minutes with a micrometer adjusting my position so I don't get "that look" again from my wife. Good luck and hope it's reliable.

GMC puts out garbage...will never buy again..
Drove off the lot brand new in 2017 and had AC problems, fixed after two weeks of back and forth..at 85000 miles needed a new transmission cost of $6,200.00 Contacted GMC and they offered a $100.00 dollar rebate..Told them to keep it. A month later found out that I need a new evaporator costing $5,000.00..GM puts out garbage..will not buy again..Buying a foreign car after this. They don't stand by their product

Nice ride
Love the exterior body lines, the front sits a bit higher than the rear, nice stance. Factory aluminum wheels are very nice. Power rear gate heated steering wheel and heated seats are nice as well. Have had dual exhaust installed, the 5.3 sounds awesome. Exterior is white.

Perfect large suv
I absolutely love my 2021 Yukon Denali. The turning radius is surprisingly good and it handles beautifully. I traded in a 2021 Lexus GX460 for it and have no regrets. This handles way better on the interstate. It’s like floating along on a cloud. I have almost 19k miles and haven’t had a single issue or recall. My son plays his Xbox on road trips in the back seat on the headrest tablet and uses the outlet back there. I ordered the gmc weather proof floor mats and they are way nicer than weather tech. You can comfortably fit 3 adults in the 3rd row. The 2nd row has 42” of leg room which is more than anything else in its class. I drive mostly in the city and average 16.2 mpg. Treat yourself and buy the Denali.

Love it!
We purchased our 2021 new March 2021 and have loved this vehicle! We previously had a 2009 Yukon XL and loved that one too but it was rusting and we wanted a new one. It has good get up and is a smooth ride. We have had nothing go wrong with it and have done several long trips. There is a ton of room and we love how big the trunk area is, even with all of the room in the cabin. Only downside, is gas efficiency. But you don't buy a Yukon to be gas efficient. We like how big the engine is and we can tow anything we need.

Don't buy this truck
GMC Yukon Denali - Total garbage. That's all you need to know. Major engine issues by 8k miles. Weeks in garage with mini pickup as loaner for maybe 6 weeks. No updates. Honestly I don't think they knew how to fix it at first. Back seat monitors are just dumb as they don't actually do anything useful. Even accessories are crap. GMC cargo liner looks great in pictures with its ability to split with seats but in real life its just held in place with sticks that move as soon as anything is placed on them. I will never buy a GMC again. My advice is to look anywhere else. I have owned two Tahoes, a Traverse, and two Equinoxes before this never a problem til this lemon of a car. Not worth the 90k sticker in any way.

Loving My 2021 Yukon SLT!!
Bought my Yukon SLT, in 2020 December! Had 52 miles @ purchased! Just love the ride, hate gas mileage(small tank) fr recent models. Haven’t had any real issues to-date. Had to get extra Wi-Fi to play infomercial in the back.

Would never buy again.
Brand new car came with a jenk white piece in a black interior to go on the passenger mirror. Then the drivers seat button doesn’t work properly, and the worst part is the entertainment system. DO NOT BUY THIS CAR FOR THAT!! It is the biggest pain in the butt! And you cant access it from the front at all. So you have to climb in the back to set it up. But you have to have WiFi or you tablets t screen mirror (but what’s the point of the entertainment system at that point. Every other time we get in the car we have to unplu and plug back in the fire stick bc the car won’t recognize it. Then it logs u out of the programs all the time so I’m constantly having to enter the passwords. If your child’s not old to use a remote have fun!! Lol For the price this car is not living up to it expectations. That’s the main stuff there’s still little things that drive me nuts.
