Decently upscale, w/o the upscale price

I was looking for a upgrade from my 92 Honda Accord LX w/ 257,187 miles. I loved the car, but it was beat. I was in the market for something a little upscale, with amenities, and reliable. I was looking for a used Acura TSX, TL, or Lexus IS300. All three were difficult to find in a manual transmission. If I found one, it was often 1/4 more in price compared to it's automatic transmission counterparts. I always liked the bubbly-styled 7th generation Accord, so I began my hunt. It was hard to find a 5-speed manual, so when I found one at a local dealer, it went the same day. This had everything I was looking for: it was a black 2003 Accord EX, 178,258 miles, w/ leather, heated seats, moonroof, etc. The paint was rough, brakes were weak, some rust, but I saw the potential. It was ready to go to auction the next morning and I couldn't pass up the price. Took it for a test drive and back home. A month later, I've addressed the issues, performed paint correction and protection and my friend's can't believe it's the same car I brought home from the dealer. I'm at a thousand miles of happy driving and I intend to keep this for as long as it lives. And if it dies, I'll swap in another motor.

I did alot of research before hand on Honda. This is great car comfortable and reliable. Fun to drive. I simply love it and I actually still own it. I bought it used in 2010 with about 106k drove it for 7 years I have a Silver 2004 Honda EX-L Coupe. Leather heated seats moon roof comfort great on gas. but I currently have 2013 Honda crosstour I'm loyal to name and this is the car that started it all.

Good Intermediate Car

This is the first time owning a Honda and have found it to be interesting. The car is a very good ride and is dependable. On the other side, must be constantly on top of what the car is doing and sounding to keep it running smooth.

I have yet to own a reliable car.

However I do think my current car is good so far but had a few glitches here and there. Current vehicle that I own is a 2004 Mazda 6. So haven't had a reliable car.

Reliable and Low Cost

The 2003 Accord EX is a combination of excellent performance, comfort, reliability, and low maintenance cost. Standard features such as heated and powered leather seats, sunroof, and nice interior design for 2003 are great.
