Watch Out! Unexpected repairs coming your way...
I was an avid Honda owner and used to recommend owning Hondas to everyone. I had owned 2 prior to my 2004 and never had any problems. I even sold both of them for great money each with over 200K miles. Never had any problems prior to this year. I purchased my 2004 brand new and bought the V6 EX model. I even purchased the 100K warranty which ended up being a waste BECAUSE my tranmission failed at 100,548 miles. Dealership wanted $3700 for another transmission. I was going to take it to a private party for repairs so they offered a repair match at $2500. But in doing research on the internet realized they have tons of problems with their tranmissions. Feel they should cover 1/2 AT LEAST! I'm still arguing with Honda corporate about covering more of the costs. Of course they won't budge. Ridiculous!!

Great, sexy and fun to drive car!
Recently got my new used 2004 Honda Accord EX-L 2 door coupe. Great car, very fun to drive and get in it with a BIG smile everytime, just loving it. It has everything, heated seats, 6 disk CD, dual heat/cool, leather, moonroof, you name it...it's got it. Handles beautifully, very comfortable and is very smooth. Loving it.

Best first car ever
My parents bought a loaded Ex-V6 model in 04 and i complained because it was a boring choice, you see these cars everywhere. Well after 5 years, ive realized why the accord is selling like hotcakes! it is the best all around car- the v6 is powerful- u gotta learn to touch the gas lightly cuz when you hit it, it goes! its comfy for 5 , the leather is really luxurious and after 75000 miles it still drives and looks and feels like its brand new! the handling is great, but make sure your tires are all inflated correctly,i just checked and filled mine and the car is running unbelievably smooth now , what a difference! We keep it reg. maintained and it has had no major problems. Gas cap lock broke but thats no biggie. The seats are great looking and super comfortable on long trips and the seating position is excellent! the handling is perfect- comfy yet sporty! and love the road feel and steering wheel. easy to drive, controls are all great! I barely avoided a bad crash recently, but after doing some research i feel so confidant that my accord would keep me safe as it has top safety ratings, crumple zones, and front, side, and curtain airbags, not to mention nimble handling and decent brakes. The styling is conservative but i like it- its a classy car and i have a spoiler so i think it looks very sporty! Complaints are few- the stereo is weak- but sounds great for a basic unit! and i love the steering wheel controls and 6 disc changer, i just wish it had an aux jack. Mileage is so- so. I have a lead foot and i keep track of the mileage- in the winter i get around 18-20 around town and in the summer its more like 21-23. on the highway tho it easily gets 26 with my lead foot! im gonna see if it improves with properly inflated tires. Also in the winter the traction isnt the best, but itll get you where you need to go- watch the turns! I almost got snow tires but decided it wasnt worth $500. and i only wished i had them a handful of times. get a AAA membership instead. This car has completely spoiled me, its just perfect in everyway for a front drive car. favorite feature- press unlock on the key fob twice then hold it, u can roll down all the windows!! you have to roll them up with the key in the door lock tho. I would be happy to own this car for another 10 or more years- im sure it will hold up great!

Great car
We have a 2004 Accord, which replaced our 2002 Accord when it was destroyed by a tree falling on it. We loved our old one, and the 2004 is even better. The 2.4L has more than enough performance, yet gives exceptional economy. You pay a premium for a used Accord, but will experience very enjoyable driving, and excellent resale value.

Best car I have owned
I got my 2004 V6 EX-L coupe last December, and it is the best car buy I made so far. If you want luxury and sporty driving, this is the car to get. The seats are great, at first I thought they were a little stiff, but after a 1800 mile trip with this car I got out with no complaints nor was I overly tired (Which I had some problems with when I did the same trip with my previous Ford or Camry). Now I would not want any other seats. They support me all on sides, which turns out to be great on longer trips. The V6 EX-L drives tremendously smooth. A lot of people that get in the car are very impressed by the interior design and the comfortable drive (even though sometimes I step on it). The EX-L comes really fully loaded...and I mean fully loaded! ALL that I missed was an integrated Navigation system and a mpg calculator. Some of my friends drive BMWs and Lexus IS and brag about what their car all has, but so far I had to say: "My Accord has (or can do) that too", and even beyond. Why pay so much for a luxury and sporty drive? the Accord equals with these BMWs, Lexus and Mercedes EASILY! The V6 is, surprisingly, good in MPG. Driving normally, I get around 28 mpg, on mixed roads. On the highway I easily get 30+mpg at 70mph. My next car will definitely be an Accord (or Honda) again...but then the new model! Very surprising is the retail value. An Excellent 5 year old Accord costs around $14K, a bargain for this car!

Fun to Drive 60000 miles so far!
PROS: Great acceleration and handling with v6. Controls are intuitive and easy to use. Quality, Reliability. lots of safety features. Interior design is fantastic- leather, gauges. Quiet. Solid feel. Comfortable. Sporty handling that isn t too stiff. Cons: Conservative styling, sound system isn't great, better color choices(mine is dark blue w/ grey leather) Great car that will last forever and ill still want to drive in 10 years or i can sell it at a good resale price!

Best Car I've ever Owned!
I've had my 2004 Accord EX with Nav for about 3 years now and I still love it. It runs like the day I bought it. I highly recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for the most bang for their buck!

I've never had a single problem with this car
This car has been a rock solid vehicle for me. I never have to worry about if it's going to start, if it's going to break down, or if I am going to encounter any unexpected costs. I perform the factory recommended maintenance on time, and I have never had a single issue. Honda makes a quality product!

Powerful machine that you can control easilly.
I own this vehicle and I must say I am very impressed. The design of the exterior shows off a very powerful look that can be seen on the track but at the same time a classy look that a family can be seen in it. The interior of this vehicle is fantastic. I was most impressed with what was under the hood. It had a strong 3.0 Liter V-6, giving a powerful force of horsepower and speed but yet you can control it extremely easy.

sporty family sedan
this is my third honda, first accord. the v6 is very strong but breaks do not support sporty feel. spirited driving will wear pads very quickly. mpg is good for 240 hp on highway. exterior styling is not strong point but solid reliability make up for lack of flair. overall a great ride. purchased as honda certified used with 24k miles now have 75k.
