2013 Honda Accord consumer reviews

This is a beautiful car in most every respect. The only shortcoming is the overly abundant options that tend to make the car seem complicated, especially the radio in my model. In time- as I get more familiar with them- l will probably learn to appreciate their usefulness.

With only 1000 miles on my new car first impression is very positive. Very solidly built. No rattles, great mileage. Best Accord I've owned so far. I shopped 2014 Mazda 6, Kia Optima, Ford Fusion, and Chevy Malibu. Honda was the best value.

This new 2013 Honda Accord exceeded my expectations. More then happy about it new styling exterior and interior. Awesome technology package with Lane Watch, Rear Camera etc. Got great insurance discount because of all the safety features in placed. Love the Eco option to save on fuel in addition to it's fuel savings great gas mileage in place already! Highly recommend the new 2013 Accord

Owned this Accord one week. Watch out if you are 6' feet tall or even 5'10' , passenger side is a very tight fit. May not be comfortable on a long trip. My 2009 Accord had so much more room. My husband already misses the old car!

After seeing the accord at cars.com I fell in love with its new redesign look. The sport trim model is awesome. I wish they would add leather seats and push button start to the accord sport but other then that I love my accord sport. it drives great and 35 mpg are awesome. I also love its sporty look. I'm now a proud owner of a 2013 Honda accord sport. Honda is on the right track. I'm now a Honda accord sport fan.

First off, it is a really nice car. I love the interior and exterior design of the vehicle. But, if theres one thing I would change on this car it would be the CVT transmission. I purchased this 2013 Sport model after my 2002 Accord V6 had severe transmission problems. I didn't think anything about the CVT transmission at first. In fact, I took a test drive and it seemed normal to me. But, after a few months of driving it, I'm really regretting getting the CVT. when try to accelerate when going on a small hill I shouldn't have to fully press the gas to speed up. It just seems really weak to me is all. Bottom line, if you're picky about how your next car performs, do your research first before choosing a car with a CVT transmission. There's one more quirk I have about the car and its the audio system. It is by far the worst I've seen on a new car. Honda continues to disappoint in this category. First, the speakers are weak on the Sport model, really weak. Second, ANC (Active Noise Cancelling) is getting on my nerves as well. When you accelerate it gets louder, that's the idea. But, the bass almost disappears. To me that's a problem. Third, I'm having a issue when I leave my IPod plugged in the USB port and then I turn the key to start the car and 5 seconds goes by and the iPod stops playing music. It's kind of annoying because I leave my iPod in the car and want to listen to music right away. Just want to add a few more things that are missing on this car that my 11year old car had. First, a light for the glove compartment. I guess Honda felt it necessary to take it out of this model. Second, the center console compartment is so bland you would think you're buying a 20 year old car. That's my rant about the new accord. I just think Honda missed on a few more opportunities here.

I am happy to be done test driving and have found the perfect car for me. Great price with nice options. Car rides very well, gets great gas mileage and appears to be reliable and safe, although I have owned it less than a week. I am looking forward to many great road trips with the great stereo, bluetooth and sunroof. I test drove a number of cars and this one came out on top! Aiming to be part of the million mile club:)

I've had an '88, a '96, an '07 and now a '13 Accord. Throw into the mix an '01 top competitor of Honda, too, and I can tell you that the Accord is the way to go. I have to say that the major difference, however, with the '13 is that this is my first model without the double wishbone suspension and that's too bad. I always loved the tight precision driving feel that I got with the DWS. Without it, the driving experience is not nearly as "sporty" feeling,,, more like the driving performance feel of the '01 competitor, which was nice, but not that sporty of a feel. Okay, I do have an actual complaint about this car; The steering wheel is too fat! I'm female with smaller hands, that's true, but this is the first car I've driven that the wheel is uncomfortable to grip, I find myself always moving my hands around the wheel looking for a more comfortable position. Non of my other Hondas had this problem. There are so many safety features of the '13 Accord that I like, but the one that I LOVE is the side/rear camera, which is the one feature that made me actually buy a new car at this time. I will never own a car without one again!

My family and I LOVE this car. It has an amazing amount of room. We have two boys that are really tall and they have plenty of head and leg room. It's really hard to find a family car that comes with a manual transmission, This Accord has a six speed manual transmission. It is the perfect combination of safety, reliability, comfort and excitement. Since it's a Honda, I know it will last forever!
