Best Gas Mileage Out There

We were looking for a reliable vehicle to get back and forth to work with. One that had excellent gas mileage on the highway specifically, and with low mileage. This car exceeded our expectations and had been great to drive!

I LOVE my Honda Civic!

Reliable, good mpg, dependable, routine maintenance only, highly recommended. Through 2005 has the timing belt which needs changing at about 100k miles, otherwise this is such an inexpensive car to maintain. Cons: inconvenient cup holders under/next to dash, and not enough cup holders, but this is an ‘04... I would buy this car again!

Like all Honda engines, she can break 300K mi.

This Civic has very reliably and comfortably gotten my daughter through college. Now that she will be moving across the country, she is very sad to be leaving her Honda behind. Has great leg and head room for taller people. The kind of car you feel safe letting your son or daughter get around in... or yourself, if you just want to motor around town AND get better gas mileage!

Most reliable car I've owned

This car has been my most reliable car. Never failed me once and has been active with me for massive miles. Through its usage through the snow, it proved to be durable. The comfort in the car is remarkable. There's a lot of leg space, front, and back. The moonroof feature is quite notable. Being able to creak in some air without letting much noise in from the highways is quite lovely.

So far, fantastic car considering the age.

It's definitely a lot more reliable than my broken Taurus. I was shopping for a cheap vehicle so I didn't have much of a choice, but I was lucky to find this 4 cylinder manual. That small engine has a lot of power even without pushing the RPMs. It only becomes obvious that it's a little 4 cylinder when accelerating over 60MPH or so in 5th gear. It still gets up there, but it does so a little more slowly than my 6 cylinder Taurus. This may also be because, being a manual, I keep it in 5th gear on the highway and the automatic Taurus would downshift a gear for heavy acceleration. It shifts well and starts off easy. Starting in second is nice for flat roads but 1st is still my friend when I'm on a hill. The engine and tranny has held up well to the years and miles that are on this thing. If I'm not mistaken, it has 4 wheel disc brakes, which is a plus. It's a lot easier to do brake work on discs than drums.

Great vehicle.

I have found this car to be excellent in every respect. It is the second Honda I have owned, and I love it! I will always buy Honda Cars in the future, based on my experience and excitement with the brand .

Very low maintenance costs.

Recommended for anybody that want a reliable fuel efficiency car that will not nickel and dime you at the repair shop. A bit low to the ground. Careful coming out steep driveways.
