Very Reliable!
I bought this car brand new. In the fourteen years I owned this car, other than regular maintenance, nothing ever went wrong with it. I drove it all year round, summer and winter. The engine never "burnt" oil and the gas mileage was excellent.

Great used car
This car is awsome. It runs great and feels like a new car. Being big it is a little tight but other wise very comfortable. This is a small car compared to suv I use to drive but truck is big. Back seat has good amount of leg room and comfortable seat room.

Great car
Had it for 11 years, no major issues, worked great! Loved it. I always kept up with the maintenance, but it could last another 10 years

Fun but underpowered
Has a lot of room when you put the seats down and it?s not a bad car. Just wished it came with the better k20a2 engine like overseas instead of the usdm k20a3.

Good Handling, sturdy
It has good handling - sturdy design. It had been in a few accidents but still runs pretty well. Hondas tend to last. Limited amenities.

2004 Honda civic
this car was a great find at the time. great on gas, reasonably comfy ( considering I'm a large man at 275 lbs.)the car was very reliable. I did end up trading it after 4 years of happy ownership because it seems once things start to go then it all starts to go and I just figured it was time to move on. so if you find one in good shape you should be happy with it for a few good years

Very dependable, low maintenance car
This car has served me well for 14 years. I have not had any problems with it aside from one electronic sensor that went out about 3 years ago and cost 200 dollars to replace. Other than that, no maintenance costs above and beyond the basic oil changes, tires, brake pads etc. have incurred.

You can't beat Honda reliability
I just recently traded in my Honda Civic after 14 years and 145,000 miles. This car saw me through countless commutes and road trips, including driving down to Florida from Chicago and back. It took over 10 years before anything of note started going wrong with it, and then it was just brakes. I had the LX trim which was their mid-range model and as my first new car it was a great investment. Drive-wise it was okay, but I wouldn't call it exciting. It had smooth acceleration, which at times was almost too smooth. I felt like I had to floor the gas pedal to get it to speed and that was even fresh out of the showroom. But once it started going it was a comfortable ride even at high speeds. At the time it had about as many frills as you could get, including electronic locks and windows and a CD player standard (remember this was 2004). If you're looking for a used car and happen across a Civic that's still in good shape don't pass it up; it could give you several more years of reliable service.
