Reliable and economical.

I've owned a 2006 Honda Civic LX for about 5 years/85000 miles. The car is fairly comfortable for my work commute. Currently I have 165000 total miles on the vehicle and the items I have replaced is the starter and the AC compressor. I do my own maintenance so these items weren't a big deal. Since this is a fairly cheap car, I believe these wear items are to be expected. I average 34mpg mixed city/highway. In review, it has been well worth my $6000 investment.

Perfect school/commuter car

10+ years old and still gets 30 mpg commuting to work. It will make the perfect car for my soon-to-be teen driver.

AC needs a recall -

I have sunk hundreds of dollars in the ac and it still doesn't work correctly. Very common problem from what I've read on line. Constantly making me mad !

Great car. Great on gas - I pay $500/yr

It is solidly built, quiet, and smooth. It is too small for me though (I am 215lb 6 feet tall), has very uncomfortable seats. It is a great car for reliability and economy. This car has almost 200k miles and runs like new. Just keep maintaining it and it will last for ever.
