2013 Honda Civic consumer reviews

I bought this car for my teenage "new" driver. The crash testing and improvements pushed me to look at this over a larger car. Glad I made the decision. It's got just enough "umph" to move her along without letting her speed to much!!!!

We have been loyal Honda customers for thirty years and can't imagine buying another car outside the Honda "family". Even though we could afford to pay more, my wife and I are more interested in buying reasonably priced, dependable cars than more expensive luxury vehicles. The 2013 Honda Civic EX-L and EX-L NAVI are affordable cars that still offer many of the amenities generally seen with more expensive vehicles. Having put the first 1,000 miles on our new Civics (yes we bought two), we are both getting comfortable and used to all the features. Our only complaint so far is that due to the slope of the hood, you can't see the front end of the car while driving. This makes it difficult to park, and we both catch ourselves parking 2-3 feet farther away than we need to for fear of hitting a car that is parked in front of us. We are hopeful this perception problem will improve with time. Other than that, we are both very excited about our new Civics and hope to drive them for 10-15 years, or until they "die of old age".

Purchased our 2013 Honda Civic at Klein Honda in Everett WA. We got it for a great price and financing rate. It's stylish, Great ON GAS, reliable and has great safety features. It was everything we were looking for in a car and of course its a Honda! They are known for making great engines and vehicles that will last. I you go to Klein Honda work with Vinson Walker a sales consultant. Works with you without all the hassel. He absolutley does his best to ensure you leave happy. I have never seen that quality of customer service anywhere.

Very nice car: smooth, quiet, efficient, very high gas mileage. Both my wife and I love the car a lot. Down side: - expensive The final out of door price was 19K, which, we struggled a bit (since we can get a Corolla at around 4K less); - unpleasant experience dealing with Honda dealerships. We called so many dealers, and ended up believing they are more or less the same: dishonst. They tell you a price, but with many things/costs hidden. They make a promise, but didn't honor it when you later arrived to their dealership. Anyway, I like the car, not the dealerships. xx

I've had the 2013 for a couple of months now. Pros: Even though I got the base LX model, it came with a lot of extras. I like the backup camera, Bluetooth and good gas mileage (I got 40 mpg on the highway, manual transmission). Nice stylish looks; it looks similar to my neighbor's expensive Mercedes, except thousands less. The HVAC controls are very easy to use, especially the fan knob. The digital speedometer is actually nice. It is easier to compare your speed with the speed limit than with an analog gauge. The steering wheel controls for the radio, phone and other features are nice; I use them all the time. Cons: It sits low to the ground- hard to get out of car. No variable wiper setting, just one intermittant speed. Gear shifting is so-so, not as smooth as it could be. The plastic hub caps are tacky.

This is the third Honda Civic that I have owned. I just love them. They are really sharp looking cars and very reliable. It is a very comfortable car and gets great gas mileage. The only negative thing about my prior 2010 Civic and my new 2013 Civic is that you can hear the road noise more than in other cars I've ridden in. However, this has not stopped me from loving my Civics. My 2013 Civic has blue tooth hands free link for my cell phone which was really easy to set up. I love that I can now talk hands free. Also, the rear view camera for backing up is really great. I can't say enough good things about it.

all the reviews on for the civic must be fake. not one person gave a low score? you know that isn't suspicious at all. .i have a 2012 civic and have had a lot of issue with it, the interior materials are very cheap. everything squeaks and has pealed. the airbags stopped working . the warning system never works. i burn oil , my tires are wearing fast. the battery died fast, 2 nd gear is very hard to get into ( stick shift). one issue after another. Maybe the 2013/2014 is better but just know they are not as good as they used to be. they are now build in usa, not japan, so there is going to be some drop in quality.

I AM VERY HAPPY WITH MY NEW 2013 HONDA CIVIC SEDAN. PURCHASED AT AIRPORT MARINA HONDA. TERRY WILLIAMSON WAS VERY PERSONABLE AND KNOWLEDGABLE IN HANDLING MY PURCHASE. THE CAR HAS GREAT STYLING INSIDE AND OUT....IS REALLY COMFORTABLE;HANDLES GREAT...HAS A GREAT INFORMATIVE DASH DISPLAY COMPLETE WITH BACK-UP CAM(STOCK) AND THE MILEAGE IS GREAT ON OPEN HIGHWAY.. 44 (AVG)MPG.
