sluggish
this is a review of a 2011 CRV-has not run properly since purchasing back in sept 2011. mileage is way down from where it should be-has over 10k now and gets 22-24 mpg on istate.when it lugs down going up a long incline-fells like it's not running on all 4 cyls-also at a stoplight-runs extremely rough-exhaust is really black-like it burns too rich. tech has monitered it on computer as it is being driven-nothing shows on code. honda rep is to xx it out before long-hope i get a report that looks positive-like getting in a 2012-not a happy camper.

Happy 2012 CR-V Owner
I purchased a 2012 CR-V FWD EX model in the white diamond pearl color. I am extremely happy with the comfort , smoothness and handling of my crv. I test drove several suv models and it came down to the Nissan Rogue and Honda CR-V. In the end I liked the liked the handling and ride smoothness in the crv. I also liked the fact that the crv had a larger cargo area than the other comparable models.

Computer Controller Problems
Right from the get-go, my brand new 2012 CR-V seems to have arrived with some sort of a computer controller problem, specifically with not allowing my iPhone to pair, and also problems with the iMID control functions. Symptoms started as they delivered my new vehicle to me with non-functioning Phone and Setting buttons (no response to the press). Then, problems also surfaced with the steering-mounted Display and Audio Channel toggle buttons (eratic, sometimes uncontrollable, screen movements between settings), in addition to the same eratic control of the Aux iPod control functions through the dashboard. Other functions not working include the customized Wallpaper input and some Back button functionality. Most other computer controlled adjustments (sound system, door settings, vehicle info, etc.) seem to be working properly, although at a very slow response rate like an old 486 PC that receives too many input commands at once and slows to a snails pace. At first, the dealer tried to perform a software re-install - that didn't work. Then, they replaced the Audio hardware unit without solving the problem either. Now, Honda Engineering is in contact with Panasonic to replace the Computer System Controller unit that apparently the phone and audio systems pass through to process command functions (which, by the way, I mentioned to the dealer right off was perhaps the problem - I know a few things about computers). I'm a bit concerned that a CARFAX report will show warranty work right off the bat with this vehicle, and that they're already plowing into the dash with repeated repairs - but not as much as just wanting these problems resolved - I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this same kind of problem with their new, 2012 CR-V, and what was done to resolve the issue.

Honda crv lx
I like my Honda CRV LX in AWD. I like the econ feature and am getting 27 mpg combined driving. I was driving Chevrolet Suburban and decided to downsize since my kids are going off to college. I still wanted the AWD for snow which we occasionally get here in NC. I like the backup camera and controls in the steering wheel. Front seats good for tall drivers. I needed good space with decent fuel economy. I am getting 27 mpg combined city/hwy. The price was good also. I like Honda reliability since I keep my vehicles a long time!

Great Mini SUV for the Money
The new design of the CR-V for 2012 is much more appealing than the previous stubby design. The comfort is terrific (I have the leather model) and the handling is good. It has a great deal of technology standard for us geeky types. Overall it is a great vehicle and I look forward to many years of service.

none
Seats are not soft on long trips. I am getting 31.5 on the interstate at 75 mph with the air on and 33.5 with it off.

Efficient. Fun to drive. Flexible.
Love my CR-V. I had been dqriving a ubiquitous luxury wagon that I kept for three years too long ... Just because it had a stick-shift. You know what? With the CR-V I have no regrets. Better mileage, more reliable, holds as much stuff, and the back seat is more spacious. The front seats could be a little deeper and plushier, but the features make up for everything. No wonder it's so popular.

I was so excited to get my 2012 Honda CR-V! Guess I should of done a better job researching problems with this vehicle! After owning it a short 3 weeks, I was driving it when the car caught on FIRE!! At least their were no injuries... and oh yea NO car left either!! I'm still waiting for HONDA to own up to their problem vehicle so I can get another vehicle... just not a Honda!

My Second CRV at 2000 Km
Nice refinements from my 2008 CRV EX-L. It is a bit quieter and I like the exterior styling improvements - 2008 looked like it had an over-bite. Love the backup camera, electric steering has positive feel, ECON feature is great on shift point adjustments but minimal impact on fuel economy. While new rear seat design is great there are two two interior design negatives: miss the removable rear deck (was great for grocery shopping - new tonneau useless); and, full front console eliminates floor space that was great for my wife's handbag.
