crv/honda of Lincoln

We are very pleased with the CRV EXL that we purchased at Honda of Lincoln. I handles well on the road and is very comfortable. I also has excellent gas mileage. I would highly recommend this vehicle to my friends.

Best car buying experience ever!

My husband and I both purchased a car! He got the Honda Civic for his commute. I got the Honda CRV to suit my needs. The sales staff at Honda Cars of Boston were great. They listened to our needs and there was no pressure.

Great in the snow and sun

I originally got my car because I wanted vehicle that would be able to handle harsh NY winters then moved to Southern California. This car drove great in the winter and even better in the sun! My only issues with it is I wish the pickup and gas mileage was a bit better. Otherwise I've had no problems with it and I get compliments all the time from how roomy is it.

This car exceeded all my expectations, it is well built, very economical, trouble free, satisfyingly powerful, just does it all well.

My 5th CR-V - and it's better than the last.

I had my last CR-V, a 2006 since brand new. I put 243K miles on it, and I still loved it, but I wanted a few upgrades. I bought a Honda Certified Pre-Owned 2014 CR-V EX (FWD) in January with 23K miles on it. I love it. It's very comfortable, it's peppy, and it handles well. The road noise is much lower than in my 2006 CR-V. I can fit a LOT of stuff it in too, one of the main reasons I bought the CR-V in the first place. I have 15 guitars, 5 in hard cases, the rest in gig bags. I can fit all of them in the back of the car (with the seats down). And I can still fit a few tubs or boxes or bags in with them. This definitely meets my needs. There are a few things about the car I would change, if I had a magic wand: - If you go over 75 with cruise control on in Eco mode, and the road is anything other than FLAT, the speed fluctuates more than I would like; if I turn off Eco mode, it works a lot better. (Our highways go up to 75, and our toll ways go up to 85, so I do actually need to use this a lot. I just punch the Eco button when I get on the tollway.) - The speedometer displays a lot of stuff - including mileage on current tank or current trip. But there's no Speed Display. I'd LOVE to have the ability to display the speed, rather than looking at the dial. - The material on the interior door panels scratches easily; I have more scratches on the new one than I ever had on my old one, and I am really hard on cars. That being said, I really can find nothing to complain about with the car. Lots of storage in the console. Love the bluetooth for phone and audio. 2 12-outlets in the front of the car. Comfortable seats. I love sitting up higher - gives me a better view than a sedan. I would definitely recommend this car. I hope to get as many miles out of this one as I got out of my last CR-V (243K), or my first Accord (268K). Each of those cars had no major issues until after 200K, and the issues they had were really wear and tear. Hoping for that with this one too.

Honda CR-V is less expensive to own

This is a good midsized SUV. The fuel economy is less than advertised. CVT transmission would have been optimal. Maintenance minder takes the guess work out service. Eco assist will boost mileage. Backup camera and hands free link are a bliss. Overall it is a no hassle car with great resale value that beats lease specials.

Locking Brakes while driving in snow

I have owned 5 Hondas this is my second CRV and I'm so disappointed in the braking while driving in the snow, each time I try to just push on brakes they lock up, I almost hit 5 cars the other day, I is so unsafe to drive in the snow I will never drive it again in winter. SO disappointment in the safety of this rig

A few issues Honda has not fixed

The 2014 CR-V is known to have several issues that Honda has not fixed. The car has a rough ride, you feel every bump and pothole worse than other cars. In many CR-Vs, the moment you step on the gas the car hesitates and does nothing. Pure danger. And the TPS tire pressure light is always on. It gets reset, tires checked, all okay, technicians turn it off and then it is on again within a week. Always on. I bought the car used last year with 12K miles and I'm already ready to sell it and go back to Subaru.
