2014 Honda CR-V consumer reviews

Difficult to get in and out of. Can't open tailgate in the garage because it goes up so high. Can't see out to back up or change lanes in traffic. Backup camera is of no help. Exterior color is attractive. Leather seats are nice. Driver's seat doesn't have enough adjustments. Front passenger has to get out of car to adjust seat. Steering wheel is slippery.

This car replaced my 13 year-old minivan. Since kids are now moving on to college, I don't need all the seats I used to have. My boys are big and are both comfortable in the back seat, but if we put someone in the middle back seat it will be a tight fit for all 3 passengers. The car is only about a month old and the lever that flattens out the 40 side of the 60/40 seat doesn't seem to work. I will need to get it checked. And, while driving once, the 60 side went down on its own. I havent taken it on a long drive yet, but my right leg gets uncomfortable sometimes. I think this is because I am now closer to the pedal - I was sitting higher in my minivan. Other than that, I am very happy with the car. It has a lot of zip. I was afraid that because I was going to get a basic car with no fancy options that I would be missing out. I was wrong. The stereo sounds great. I got bluetooth and I got the backup camera, which I already have come to depend on. I LOVE the mountain blue color, and everyone comments about how nice it looks. So far, so good!

This all wheel drive is great. We bought this car the first of January, 2014. It has snowed almost every day since. This is the wife's car. She can go out every day even if it is snowing.

I've driven a Subaru Outback for 14 years. This new CR-V EX-L is a luxury car to me. I have had it one month now and do enjoy driving it. The major thing I am having to get used to is lack of visibility when backing out of car parks and switching lanes. I understand why the camera is needed but I'm used to just turning my head. I think I made a good choice but only time will tell. I really can't address reliability but Honda has a good record and the dealership is close and seems to be really top notch. I especially liked my salesman. He explained features in a very clear fashion and was a pleasure to deal with.

Car is a pleasant surprise. It handles great , is comfortable and fits into any parking space. Got a rear spoiler which is my only complaint. They do not mention that it does not fit as a factory one. Otherwise, love the car

I love love, love my CR-V! I especially love the 'cockpit' everything is easy to see and reach when driving. I am short so sitting up high is important for me-the drivers seat raises more than most cars I test drove. I also love the console lots of room to stash things, while keeping my purse next to me. I found the cloth seats uncomfortable so moved up to the XL - E for the leather - much more comfortable not a lot more cost. The only thing missing is an auto lift gate feature. Honda should add that-then this vehicle would be perfect!

First Honda we have owned. So far (400 miles) it is just what we expected. Easy to drive, excellent handling, good visibility and comfort. Missing a few items that were not available on the LX model like automatic headlights but we did not want the sun roof which is on the other two models. Overall, very happy to date.

I purchased my Honda CR-V EX-L from Hyannis Honda everyone was extremly helpful, professional and there was no pressure put on my regarding my purchase. I would recommend this dealership to anyone.

just purchased CR-V, so don't know much about it yet. I do know I have had good reliability with Honda - hope this is the same.

The only thing The Duchess is missing is: headlights that automatically come on at dusk, I guess I could have paid more for that option but I was and am still willing to turn the knob for headlight operation!!!! Other than that minor thing, I am more than happy with everything about my new CR-V and the company where I purchased her. The name of the dealership is Thomas Team Honda that is located in Johnstown, PA!!!! I could have not been treated any better than I was in working with them!!!! I received a much better deal than I was offered locally!!!!
