2014 Honda CR-V consumer reviews

Purchased this CRV (HONDA) because of Honda's reliability, design, and utility. Steering is very nimble but tends to need constant adjustment in windy conditions.The interior materials appear to be more plastic then other cars I own. I have the AWD feature only because it was the only thing available, we live in florida and don't expect to use it much. We drove to Florida two days after purchase and were pleased with the comfort considering it's size, managed 30 mpg despite two passengers and a loaded cargo area. The one feature that seemed redundant was how many displays concerned fuel mileage. Enjoying the car very much.Have driven 2500 miles and all seems well, ask me at 100k miles.

I like my new Honda CRV - it has almost all features of a luxury car - the seats are very good will lot of controls, space is good. I love my moon roof. I also love fuel economy.

When I went shopping for a new car, I was looking for two main things - price and reliability. I'm a retired grandmother - still very active, but way past the days when flashy cars turned my head. I went to Honda, because past experience showed me that Hondas keep their value over time, and they are priced right. I loved the CRV at first sight. It is a comfortable ride - I made sure my test ride went over railroad tracks and bumpy roads. It's roomy enough for my grandchildren and the seats fold down at the touch of a lever - giving me room to haul bikes! I got a great deal on the price by shopping the internet, and the best part? Well, I didn't think a flashy car would still turn my head...but my car makes me smile every time I walk out into the driveway and see it!

I love my new new CRV. I love the leather interior and the exterior design is fabulous. I have no regrets on purchasing my SUV.

Very good overall. I think the CR-V offers a lot of value for the money. A couple, somewhat small complaints: I understand that Honda is attempting to emphasize fuel economy as one the CR-V's strengths, but the vehicle has grown in size and weight to a point at which the power-to-weight ratio is a bit out of whack. Also, the location of the various feature-programming selection points is confusing - some on the steering wheel and some on the panel.

I like the short turn radius, which makes it very easy to park. The camera that shows me what is behind the car when I back up is great. Previously, I owned a sedan that I loved; however, one thing better about the CR-V is that I sit up higher, which is great for visibility. I like that they don't put the spare tire on the back anymore. The interior is beautiful.

I'm usually a used car buyer. But since I'm nearing the age of retirement, l wanted a new car this time. I knew this purchase would be the last car I'd buy, so I was careful in my selection. I currently have a 2001 Honda civic. It's an excellent performing car. For this reason, I bought a 2014 Honda CR-V. The size of this vehicle is perfect. The exterior design of the car is eye catching and attractive. The interior is smart and very roomy. There is plenty of space for long legs in the front and back. The back door opens easy to store shopping bags behind the seats. But then the back seats fold down making room for large purchases too. I do have some issues with the design of the automatic Gear Shift being in a vulerable position. It is located in between the Driver and Passenger in the middle of the console just above the drink holders. This is a dangerous location. I have bumped the stick shift and knocked the shifter out of drive reaching for my drink. Not good. The other issue is the bottom seat cushions in the front seats. I feel my leg leaning to the side & into the edge of the hard plastic console when driving on long trips, . This hard edge pushes into the underside of my leg and it is uncomfortable. I wish these cushions were made better. Honestly, I don't think they are going to last the life of the car. Overall, the gas mileage gets better and better. The green light ECO feature keeps me from speeding and so that saves me gas too. The features on the steering wheel like the bluetooth, radio & cruise features are so convenient! And the backup camera makes parking a breeze. I feel like I can park anywhere with no worries!! The Honda CR-V is a great buy for the money. It's a good vehicle for any size family. It is easy to drive in traffic and a comfortable ride. I got a great deal and I am very happy with my purchase..

I love all the Honda's have evr owned. Always reliable and enjoyable to drive. The customer servie at Herson's Honda of Rockville is always true to their word. The sales people were articulant and personable. They were not pushy just true to their word.

A little road noisy. Stereo not as good as I thought. The four cylinder engine does not perform well going against the wind. Gas mileage is real good if weather conditions are good. Not enough power.
