Love my CRV EX-L with navigation.

My car has been the best in all my years of driving. The electronic amenities are an absolute blessing, and I enjoy them very much. I owned a 1998 CRV prior to this car, and loved it as well. My Granddaughter is now driving it.

The biggest bang for your buck

The CR-V provides you all the extras that more expensive SUVs offer but for much less money. Honda builds the very best engines and are the most reliable. The design and interior are excellent.

Was reliable, got good gas mileage.

This car met all my needs. The leg room was about 3/4" short for my body style but fine for my wife. Overall a great car.

Very attractive Red Automobile!

This car qualified for all my wants and needs. And it looked BRAND NEW! I read the car facts and again was satisfied that it met all my requirements. I LOVE the back up camera feature which was new on the 2017 models! It's a winner!

Why I would never buy another Honda CRV

In 2017 I purchased a 2017 Honda CRV EXL brand new and Honda did away with many good features that should have come on my car like a roof rack. I can't shop for a Christmas tree because of not having a roof rack or shop at a home improvement because I can't tie anything on the roof. After buying and fitting this car into my budget and complaining about not having a roof rack, my dealer tells me that I would cost me an other $1000.00 to install. I've called Honda many times speaking with Honda Customer Service about not having a roof rack on my new car asking for Good Will that they pay for it and they don't want to listen. When you purchase a new Honda CRV which stands for Compact Recreational Vehicle you expect nothing but the best. This has other design problems that I disagree with but not having a roof rack for personal use makes me unhappy the most making my nest car something else.

I will always purchase a Honda.

I have had 2 other Honda CRVs. The convenience of carrying larger items and the size of the vehicle has always appealed to me. I have never had problems with Hondas. The reliability is important and Honda offers that quality. The leg room is very accommodating. The navigation system, lane departure, blind spot indication and change in cruise control as you approach a car are excellent.

Has some cool stuff

Bought this from a friend in 2019, it had 2981 miles on it, they bought it and then had to have 2 major back surgeries so it got parked in the garage and left there. Now they can't use it. I now have 12000 miles on it and feel confident that I can give a review worth giving. The car is excellent around town, the controls are easy to use and most are automatic. The Garmin based Navigation is awful, by the time the slow talking girl gets out the words you could be 2 blocks past your turn, no way to update or change the voice or the system, be ready to use the link system with your phone, that works well as long as you have a data connection. The radio is good but seems kinda pitchy on the highs. Seats are comfortable and very adjustable for the driver, passenger seat is not as adjustable, disappointed in that. Seat materials seem durable as well as the dash cover and door panels. Car rides well on smooth roads, gets choppy on Oklahoma hiways and road noise is off the charts on rough finish asphalt. Lane keeping feature is ok, I wish it was a bit more aggressive, pace keeping cruise control works pretty well until the car in front of you exits and slows, then you find you are braking when you shouldn't be. My average mixed driving mileage 28.5 mpg using 10 percent methanol gas. Running 100 percent gas that goes to 33 mpg and almost 40 on the hiway, methanol gets me 32 hiway. I prefer my 2002 Saab wagon for hiway but this car for the most part does what it is supposed to do, it is solid, and will not surprise you. 2017 Honda CRV Touring AWD.

Second Honda - Doesn't Dissapoint

Overall, I really enjoy driving this car! Purchased this brand new in 2017 and I was super impressed with the re-design on the exterior. I was going to buy the previous year but then the salesman advised me that there is a complete redesign in the next year and that he recommended that I wait, so I did. Once I got it, I was super impressed with it. Has a moon roof, blind-spot warning sensor, cruise control, lane keeping assist, and much more. I was surprised at how good the sound system was in the car, which I usually like the bass to be high, so it definitely performs to the high standard. Also has some nice trunk space as well. If there is one "complaint" if you want to call it that is that it does have subpar MPG in the city. It really takes down fuel range as well. Since I usually drive highways everyday, I can get 34 to even 35 MPG on a full tank of gas and go over 420 miles before having to fuel up again. I would definitely advise getting the EX and upper trims compared to the LX, have heard the LX is okay, but way more features as you go up. Also, I replaced the original halogen light bulbs on the EX (low beams, high beams, and fog lights to LEDs and they are incredible!) You only get the LED standard on the touring trim but since this is the first new car purchase, the EX was a safe buy!
