2017 Honda CR-V consumer reviews

I wasn't planning on buying a new car for 6 more months, but My current car broke. So after researching many vehicles in the size class of the crv it became my final choice. Reasons are 1. Ergonomics 2. Cargo room 3. Gas mileage 4. Dependability 5. Cost of maintenance 6. Vehicle price 7. Style and color options excellent Other vehicles might have been better in one category or the other but the honda CRV was the over all best choice of available models. Other cars on my short list 1. Mazda CX-5 (center console controls were not accessible with drinks in the cup holder and a little lacking in power) 2. Acura RDX (- cargo area a little small and $10,000 more expensive + was the v6) 3. VW Tiguan (current model too small over all and larger 2018 not available yet) 4. Ford Escape ( too small too many consumer complaints) 5. Mercedes glc 300 (too expensive to buy and maintain - oil change $299.00 with out coupon) 6. Toyota RAV4 (ugly interior)

This is a great car, very spacious. Great trunk. Great stability. Great interior. If you have kids this is the car for you. Good for work and pleasure

I feel comfortable and safe driving my CR-V. The blind spot monitors, advanced cruise control and lane keep assist make interstate driving a breeze.

I was looking, above all, for a safe, reliable, functional car that would last me many years. Based on many recommendations (including my mechanic's), I chose the Honda CR-V, and I'm very happy with the choice.

This vehicle was impressive. I liked the quiet comfortable drive. Despite what some say, I found the navigation system very easy to use.

I really love the reliability of Honda and would purchase again. Honda has been to Europe and back.

We bought this car just to run around town. We are both retired now and that is about all we do. But, today we had to go on the highway and it is so comfortable we just couldn't believe it. We have always owed a much bigger and heavier car and this car was just as comfortable, but easier to handle. I would certainly recommend a Honda CR-V to everybody,

This is a great car for The money. It has many items that are standard that I did not expect. Just a few are back up camera, Bluetooth cell phone pairing, auto climate control. The 2.4 liter engine is very peppy and runs on regular gas. It growls a little when you take off fast but thats aok. I picked this model because I wanted the tried an true engine that has been around for a while. I guess that I am just not into turbo charged engines. The only thing that I would change on this car would be the horns. They are not loud enough for me. I rairly ever use a horn but when i do I would like them to be load and heard. The ride is better than the old Lexus that I got rid of and the handling is great. It just feels like a solid car when you are driving and gives you the feeling of control. It's very quiet inside as well!
