2017 Honda CR-V consumer reviews

We downsized from a Honda Pilot; this CRV is very roomy for a mid sized SUV. Vision was better in the pilot, but otherwise, very roomy inside compared with the other two I test drove. Great safety improvements: auto safety distance front and rear; back up camera with lanes that curve as you turn; double warning if you go outside of lane; fabulous gas mileage (26/35); power assisted tail gate; driver seat position memory; heated front seats and exterior mirrors; etc.,etc.

After doing my homework on a lot of different cars, we settled on the 2017 CRV Touring Edition. Great styling and roominess are coupled with a nicely appointed leather interior. This is a comfortable and quiet car and the technology is great, too. With the Honda Sensing--adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist and other features it almost drives itself. The navigation system is Garmin-based and is very easy to use. The performance is good with the new 1.5 liter turbo engine, but occasionally has a slight "rubber band" feel between the slight turbo lag coupled with the continuously variable transmission. All in all, the performance is pleasing and I am more than happy with it. Best of all is the gas mileage. I'm averaging 27 mpg in city driving...and I'm not necessarily light on the pedal.

Sleek new design and the safety features can't be beat. I love my new CR-V! I used to own a Jeep, and I don't think I'll ever be able to go back from the CR-V.

My husband I have purchased 14 CR-Vs since Honda introduced this car. It is so practical, good on gas and fun to drive. The 2017exl model has been upgraded to the point that it now competes with the RDX. The 1.5 liter engine has lots of pep and the sound system is home theater quality. The perforated leather seats are beautiful and comfortable. New safety features compete with Lexus. We love the car.

After driving Toyotas for 26 years I bought a Honda CRV-EX. So far (3weeks) it is great. Lumbar support is wonderful. Front and back seat passengers are happy. Safety features are a welcome change (last bought a new car in 2001!)

This is my second 4 cylinder and acceleration is much better than my previous one. The steering wheel is smaller, I'm still adjusting to it. The back seat is comfortable. Overall, it's a good car.

I don't usually get very excited about a car. However, the Honda CRV is different. It drives like a solid car, is quiet, and comfortable. It has many standard safety features that are just fantastic. I'm excited to drive this car every time I get in the drivers' seat.

Has a new, modern design,gets great gas mileage on the highway and around town. Seats are very comfortable, it is easy to drive. I love the hands free phone and backup camera. All in all, my favorite car ever!!

Very pleased w/my new Honda CR-V EX. Drives beautifully. Great lumbar support for driver and front seat passenger. Back seat passengers are very pleased with their space. Love the new technology--last bought a car in 2016! Had to go to credit union to get financing for this car. Honda would not match credit union's interest rate for this car; would have for other models. Why?

I love my new car! It's absolutely the best car I have ever owned! My dad, a 6 ft 3", 275 lb man, can even drive it because of all of the space it has--legroom and height of the ceiling. :)
