Most Popular Guy on the Road
We are a Honda and Acura family, so it came as no surprise that we decided to purchase another great automobile when we opted for this snazzy economic sports coupe. The new 2011 CR-Z exceeded all of our expectations and continues to impress. It is very roomy, handles beautifully, rides like a dream, is mighty zippy, gets stellar gas mileage (low 50s) and looks like nothing else on the road in the best possible way. The bright silver paint with gray luxury-sports cloth seating makes for a rich combination that turns heads. Many ask how we like our new Honda. We are pleased we payed just a tad more for the nicely equipped "EX" edition with navigation and get a thrill out of the countless waves and "thumbs-up" we get from admirers. Every switch works with precision, rivaling vehicles costing far more. The plethora of safety features and top rated brakes were major selling points, as was the room for 6 footers-plus. We opted for the comfortable armrest option. It is worth the small increase and is large enough for both driver and front passenger to use jointly. I do miss having a sunroof, but the air conditioning is strong and most effective without any noticeable loss of power or lower gas mileage. The interior materials are first rate and the exterior quality is paramount. Kudos, Honda for another well-rounded, inexpensive car with superior road manners and gusto. It should be noted that the CR-Z is extremely reliable and Honda's high resale value contributed to this purchase, as with our dozens of current and past Honda and Acura coupes, sedans, rag tops, SUV's and crossovers, including a new '10 AWD Accord Crosstour EX with Navi. Two wise decisions in one year with great deals and unbelievable resale of our Honda Civic EX and Acura TL AWD traded for both new cars. It was hard parting with these two proven family sedans/winners, but it was time for a hybrid and wagon-like Crosstour after putting over 150,000 miles on each vehicle traded and wanting something unique in each new motorcar.

The future in sport cars
Not a true road runner or get extreme mileage like a Tesla but in the right direction. However, for an affordable two seat roadster hybrid with unique retro good looks, I love it. Hopefully they will make an all electric sport car affordable for my next car. Until then, I am going to enjoy driving my Honda sports hybrid cr z.

Sporty and Fun Ride
I just got mine recently and think its really fun and fits nicely in my garage. But I do feel it is quite safe with all the safety features they put in and looks way sexier than any Prius or other hybrid on the market. As a single guy, this thing is fun and sporty for me and blessed to own one now! No complaints so far..except sunroof and XM should be standard and available!

S2000 Vs. CR-Z and CR-V
EX is better than Base, Manual is better than CVT. CR-Z is only 97 inches, which is shorter than S2000.

Perfect Economy Car for the Sports-minded!
I am enamored with our new CR-Z. We expected to purchase a Honda Insight or Fit, but with two larger Honda's at home we decided to go with the even more affordable 2 door sports coupe. Boy, are we thrilled we did! The car is cute, yet in a grown-up way. It is roomy, extremely responsive and has a decent ride. Every switch works with Honda precision and the fit, finish and high grade materials make it the best bargain on the market today. We love the comfortable seats and upscale fabric on the EX model. The power is amazingly brisk, even for a hybrid! Our CR-Z gets unbelievably high MPG'S, including low 50's on the highway and we opted for the smooth automatic. The only complaint we have is not what is on the car, it is the lack of a sunroof option. Maybe in 2012? We hope! Otherwise, it is PERFECT in every way, like all of the Acuras and Honda products we have driven over the years. This nifty zippy little car makes driving fun and it is cool feeling young again. People stops us everywhere with questions and the most positive compliments.

Fun, economical and sporty
Although it doesn't get the same mileage as a Prius it's a heck of lot better looking and much more fun to drive. It has 3 driving modes. Normal, Eco and Sport. It handles like a dream in the corners and still gets very good mileage. I'm averaging about 36 mpg with the automatic with the majority of that being highway miles. It is ridiculous that you buy the top of the line model with navigation and that doesn't come with an arm rest, auto dimming mirror, home link or an option for a back up camera which is desperately needed with the poor rear visibility in this car. I guess the next thing is the dealers will charge astronomical fees for cup holders. The fee for for the cheap plastic arm rest is ludicrous. There's plenty of cargo room in the back as well as storage bins that can be covered. If it weren't for the outrageously overpriced accessories and the poor visibility out the back this car would be perfect.

Love it
Ok, so I was skeptical about the weight, the power, etc. But when I test drove it and kicked it into sport mode... it kicked my head back. It doesn't hurt that it has gotten me about 28 mpg each trip almost regardless of how I drive... except when I'm really gunning it. I like the interior styling but strongly feel that on the EX woth Navi model there needs to include a armrest, XM radio and the auto day/night mirrors. Other than that, I am loving the car. I think it is so awesome to have a car that looks like my old CR-X but is safer, fast and fun.

Sporty but ECo friendly
We test drove this car and after that we could not buy it fast enough. I had previously owned a SCION AX and this car feels tight on the road and in sport mode is down righ spunky. The car has the right amount to power to get out of any situation and you still get the economy of the hybrid by simply pressing a button. We got this for the wife to take to and from work but I catch myself taking it out on the weekend just for fun. Also very low road noise.
