Fun and Great Mileage.
I have just over 10,000 miles on the 6 speed manual transmission CR-Z EX. It is a very solid car with great mileage and fun performance when put in sport mode. I have been getting 40+ mpg and expect it will improve in the spring and summer. It handles well in the twisties. The ergonomics are good and it is comfortable for long trips. It has lots of storage capacity for such a small car. I like all the tech goodies. The navigation system is my only complaint. It is not as user friendly and capable as Garmon systems.

Great car for what it is
This is a car that people either "get" or they don't. You can get a more efficient car for the same price, or a bigger car, or a faster car. But you can't get the combo offered by the CR-Z anywhere else. I honestly see the biggest market for this car as a second vehicle for people who own an SUV or high-powered car and want to save some gas on day-to-day errands. For this it's brilliant. It has head-turning looks inside and out, holds a decent amount of stuff, and is as fun to drive as you can expect from a nearly zero-emission, 40mpg car. The old expression about being more fun to drive a slow car fast applies. I've driven both the CVT and 6 speed, and the CVT didn't annoy me nearly as much as it annoyed the typical car rag editors. To maximize the fun I recommend the 6 speed---it's fun to have to shift every 10 seconds, right?---but don't give up on the car just because you need an automatic. In fact, you should expect to be rowing the box quite a bit in the 6 speed because of the meager power available; commuters might prefer the auto anyway. In my limited use, the paddle shifters seem to shift quickly and smoothly as a backup option. One of the odd things missing from the car is a center armrest, but you can get one as a dealer-installed accessory. The nav system is also outdated. In fact it seems to be roughly the same unit that was in my 2004 TSX, but on the other hand that unit was fine with me back in the day. Still, if you don't mind an aftermarket unit dangling from your windshield, you're probably better off not paying the premium for an obsolete DVD-based system. The auto-off feature from the engine can also be annoying, as the car needs to re-start rapidly at stop lights (it can't move using only the battery) and hence it can be a bit abrupt and intrusive. If you don't really care about styling or driving experience, and / or this will be your only car, I would recommend checking out the Civic and Insight ahead of the CR-Z at your local Honda shop. If you're willing to sacrifice some practicality to gain better looks and more fun while still maintaining some Green goodness, this is the car.

My daughter researched all cars on line based on a predetermined budget we gave her. We looked at cars a 3 local dealers before finding one that had everything she wanted. We got a great vehicle right at our budget.

Great car in the Honda tradition. Bit of a compromise - not the best gas milage available nor the greatest zip - but fun to drive and look at. For two seater sprots car lovers.

Fun to drive & a tiny carbon footprint
This car gets allot of MPG for how fun it is to drive. It has saved me so much money at the gas pumps. Its quiet, sporty and the seats fit a full size man. I would buy another one if needed. The cars tiny carbon footprint makes me feel like im doing my part for the kids future too. This is a real feel good car if I ever owned one.

Great car for this economy
I am in love the style and its gas mileage with this car when it first came out and keep dreaming for it for 3 months after reading a lot of review. I then arranged with a saleman to get the model and option I like. Took on ly 2 hrs for em to dirve test and drive home my dream car. Now with 220 miles on it the the gas tank level show 1/2 tank full. Then tank is 10.5 GAL capacity. Now can I leave my other utility home and only use it when driving family on a long trip or hauling big stuffs for home or garden. I am in love with my CR-Z for good!

Fun and sporty, like a little space ship
I quite impressed with this car, fuel efficient, comfortable and very much fun to drive, not at all a bad second choice since I was not able to find a Honda civic at the time.

2011 Honda CR-Z EX CVT exactly what I wanted
I have never owned a Honda, nor a hybrid vehicle but after spending several months researching and reading reviews I decided to purchase this car. I have no regrets. The new CR-Z has been getting mixed reviews online, but if you want a fun car that has great looks and respectable mileage, you will be satisfied. I decided to pass on the navigation but I enjoy the rest of the cabin features. My commute is around 50 miles per day and so far it appears I should get right at 39 to 40 MPG in ECON mode running the AC. The side blind-spots do take some getting used to. I hope Honda continues to refine this car over the next few model years.

Lovin' it
I traded in Subaru Forester and Mini S for my CRZ and don't regret it a bit, especially when i pass all those service stations at over $4.00/ gallon gas. No it does not have the pick up that my WRX and Eclipse had but it does very well, thank you Honda. As for road noise I'm not hearing it. The Subie's were noisier and the mini S just drove me insane with all it's rattles etc. This lil CRZ is quiet. The handling in sport mode is a treat on those windy country roads but I usually keep it in Normal and getting 34-40 mpg using Regular!!! The sound system is great as is the 6 speed shifter, like butter! Yeah there is a blind spot but adjust those mirrors and problem solved. I get lots of looks while cruising down the road and compliments galore!!! So I'm lovin' it and leaving a smaller carbon footprint all in one.

Fun right out of the Box
Only Manual Transmission Hybrid vehicle currently available in the US. Lots of fun. I get from 44MPG to 36 MPG depending on how much right foot I use. Never had so much fun driving to work and saving money.
