Good if you looking for an economic car
The vehicle is good, but not good for traveling, very uncomfortable to remain seated will hurt your feet, because of the very low seats.

Versatile And Accommodating
You should first know that I am the original owner of this high-functioning base model 2008 Honda Fit; this means that, nine years and 125k miles later, it's still trucking! My life has drastically changed in the last decade, so my driving patterns have changed accordingly. In 2008, I comfortably hauled 4 adults and their hiking supplies on a backpacking trip to West Texas. The car handled long stretches of road smoothly. In 2010, although slightly cramped, this Fit carried an entire rock band 300mi north to Oklahoma. That is, it fit 3 adults, 3 guitars, 2 amps including a huge bass amp, an entire drumset hardware and all, and various merchandise. Now this is a tiny car, so on the road you could tell that it was weighed down. However, it still managed an impressive 30mpg. Over the past five years I've used this spacious car to move from one place to another, many times. Today, 2016-2017 (besides my daily commute to work) I drive this well-worn car 150mi to and from Houston, averaging a modest 27mpg. All this to say, I'm obviously happy with this vehicle and will continue to drive it until it retires. If you're considering buying one, get ready to be pleased!

Drove it 150,000 miles ? just sold it ? great car
The Good ? super fun to drive compact with 34MPG tankfulls, insane cargo hauling, bulletproof reliability. The Bad ? unsupportive seats for long distances, seat material not stain resistant like other Hondas, it's lightweight can make it a tricky drive in heavy snow (largely fixed with high performance snow tires). I bought my Fit new and just sold it after 150,000 pleasurable miles. It was a work car for me and over and over the "miracle seats" paid dividends hauling all sorts of items you'd never dream of putting in a vehicle this size. I work events in some of the most scenic areas of the Rocky Mountain West and the handling of this Fit is truly world-class. With proper tires the handling is sublime, and the gear box is precise. Up and down twisty mountain roads is where this car shines! A good friend has a Mini and he would ask to drive my car on stretches he familiar with, always singing the Fit's praises. If you plan to do any mountain driving in snow, top-rated snow tires are a wise addition. This is a light car and it sometimes has issues getting through the thick stuff. Also, the seats are the biggest weak spot. They're unsupportive on long trips and the material doesn't take real-world spills very well. You can't have everything at this price. I had no major issues in 150k ? what few unexpected issues I had were minor and inexpensive. The Fit was my 5th new car purchase and by far the most reliable. Gas milage was great for cars of it's time ? I could count on 34MPG every mixed city/highway tankful. 38 was the best tank I ever got, on the highway ? flat drive, no wind. I will miss driving this car, a lot.

The Honda Fit 2008
We bought our Fit at 8,000 and now have 100,000. We are from Montana and have traveled every where and lived in a tent in Arizona for over a month. The Fit can really haul so many things. We bought and sold furniture in St. George, UT and delivered furniture when other vehicles could not fit the items in them. The magic seats are awesome! We usually get an average of 32-36 miles per gallon and have gotten up to 46 miles on long distance drives with the right gasoline. The only problem we have had with the car was the drivers door lock. I could not use a key to get the door unlocked after about 70,000 miles and so bought a remote at Best Buy and had them install it .Now I just push the unlock button and no problem.. It was much cheaper than Honda trying to mess around and charge more than what we paid at Best Buy. ..around $159 or so. I have the Base model without remote.and now have the Best Buy Remote that works perfect! Even though the car is low to the ground it does great in the snow with front wheel drive. Must be careful with clearance!

2008 Honda Fit Sport aka: Misf1t
We just love our 2008 Honda Fit Sport. ~ We have not had ANY trouble with it at all so far and we also love all the room it has. ~ For a small car it has more room than you'd ever believe!! We got about 34 mpg on the hwy. when it is FULLY loaded down for a long road trip that we too recently, We drove over 2000 miles RT and we were very comfortable the entire trip!! None of our friends and family could believe everything we got into our FIT. ~ Guess that's why they call it a FIT?? ;)

A good fit for your walllet
I bought a higher mileage Fit a few months ago and was surprised at the actuall interior room for a car that look tiny on the outside. I'm averaging about 37 mpg in varying traffic in the Washington DC area which is absolutely awesome. If you are big on styling in a car this is probably not your vehicle but if you like a practical, economical and surprisingly quick subcompact then this is a great buy.

I just love the vehicle. Several complints I had to get the break seal light on the real hatch fixed, recall in the door fixed. Over all, its a gem! I will most likely keep buying this vehicle.

One of the best small practical car!
I bought the 2008 Honda Fit Sport with 5 speed manual transmission new. It is one of the best small car in my opinion: price is affordable, it is fully loaded (AC, ABS, PL, PW, Power steering, radio with CD and MP3 input), great gas mileage (33 mpg average, and 47 mpg straight highway). I can seat 5 people, and there are a big trunk space thanks to the smart seat design. I do not have any problems since I owned the car. It is a very reliable car. Only complain that I have is too much wind and road noise. So do not forget it is a economic car.
