Donated my 1988 CRX SI and got this
This car is the perfect reliable commuter car. After driving my last Honda for 28 years of course I’d get another one. Having said that, it’s boring to drive but hey, point A to point B is all I really need. Only complaint is the tire light has stayed on no matter what for 2 years. So annoying!

Most horrible car I have ever owned.
I have been in two accidents in this car. I do understand the front bumper is meant to crumble so I try not to factor it in. I was going 25mph and my whole front in got crushed. My airbag light came on but my airbag never deployed. Today I slid in the snow and lost control going 30mph and I hit a guard rail head on. If the guardrail didnt push back my control arm into my tire it would've been a lot worse. But guess what yet again the airbag didnt deploy and my seatbelt didnt lock up leaving my head hurting badly and my knees screwed up. My car is totaled and I feel as if nothing on or in that car helped keep me safe. The guardrail did. I have also had issues with the tires constantly losing "nitrogen" until I switched over to regular air. I did get it brand new at the dealer I'm the first owner and not a happy one. I have owned suzuki's, subarus, honda civics, Volkswagen, and mitsubishi's. Out of all those Honda's in general are the worst cars I have ever been an owner of. Some other minor but still major flaws I have with this car is inside while you sit down in the drivers seat there is part of the car that is connected to the windshield and the tiny useless window on the side that makes it hard to see when you are turning. It is a hazard. I also can not stand the headrest and how forward they are, it makes it very uncomfortable. I think those are all my major concerns. I will never own a honda again if given the choice. The only good things about this car is the stereo system and how it has bluetooth, back up camera, and the gas mileage. Needless to say I'm 100% a Subaru owner if my car can not be saved. (Tow truck driver and police say its totaled)

Great car, terrible tires!
I love the car and everything about the car itself but have had terrible experience with the tires. The first was my fault driving on a very bad road and damaged the tire. The next was a flat which could not determine the cause but hole in sidewall couldn't be fixed so had to be replaced. The last was a blow-out while driving that could have had horrible results but I was very lucky to be able to get the car onto a shoulder in a dangerous area. Front blew out and back was flat but indeterminate damage. The axle or frame may be bent from the front blow-out. Three tires needing replacement in just over a year is unacceptable.

Great mileage
It has great mileage, lots of room for its size, had minimal consumer complaints, only one recall that was fixed, and looks cute and sporty.

Honda Fit have major leak problems
I like the features on the Honda Fit, the gas mileage, and the fact I have plenty of storage space. But that's where the love ends. These cars definitely have leak issues. I first experienced it about a month into ownership when water kept coming inside when I went through the carwash. I also noticed substantial amount of dust and dirt in all of the door jams. Supposedly all the seals were replaced but I still see the same amount of dirt and dust. Then my back hatch will not open and when I took it to the dealership they discovered the door was stuck to the seal. The gentleman just pulled on it hard and opened it for me. Now I have substantial amount of water in the driver's floorboard. Apparently the sunroof drains are not functioning properly. This design flaw has no current known fix . My car is a standard shift so in my mind this is a safety issue as my feet are wet and I have to constantly push in a clutch. Honda gave me a case number and that was it. The dealership where I am currently needs the vehicle for 24 hours. Even though it's under warranty I will have to provide myself an alternate vehicle. Definitely my first and last Honda.

Exterior/paint easily scratched, no remedy from co
I like a small hatchback like this model. However, exterior paint was immediately scratched & no remedy, though I paid for extra coating. After scratching they told me the coating was only for sun fading?! I changed Auto companies due to bad exterior on previous car, and am very disappointed to find problems with this one already & I resent paying extra for protection I did not get.

Best value car I've owned
I purchased the 2017 Honda EX-L Navi version of this car and it was a great buy. Honda took an entry level car and made an entry-luxury version that takes the best of the economical (fuel economy, size/space) and the most valued of the luxury (leather/heated seats, navigation, sunroof, blue tooth, lane watch, rear camera) and made it accessible to all.

Small battery
I have a Honda Fit with 2600 miles on it . Consumer report listed it As a around town car. Every time I leave the car at the airport or don,t Drive it for a while the battery needs a jump! 4 times now! Went to two dealers and Was told to drive it more. The battery is very small in this car.
