A fine example of technology

This is a well styled and pleasant to drive vehicle. I like the side and rear mounted cameras plus the ergonomic controls. The vehicle rides higher making it easy to get in and out. I was a little leary of the push button start and stop but after carefully reading the instructions and practicing I find that I have no problem with it.

It's My Dream Car

I am absolutely smitten with my new Honda HR-V. It's stylish, comfortable & great on gas - what else could you need?! I went with the 2017 EX-L Navi because it had all of the bells and whistles I was looking for. Backup camera? Check. Leather seats? Check. Sunroof? Check. Handsfree audio and climate controls? Check!

A sleek ride without tag shock!

The moment I saw this car, I thought to myself, "this is a Batman car." Something about the black interiors, the angular dashboard and tastefully designed console, as well as the spacious interiors and well manicured details all combined into a dark and devilishly handsome car I didn't expect from a Honda. When I saw the price, I was thoroughly impressed, especially when I found out how much I could lease this car for on a monthly basis. After a test drive, I only came to love it more. The quiet thrum of the engine, the responsive controls and easily placed functions any car requires, the ease with which I could listen to music from and connect Bluetooth to my phone...even the cool color changing gauge and the gas efficiency indicators all added a thoughtful touch to an already beautiful car. Plus, the brake lock is an absolutely AMAZING feature that I can't recommend enough to anyone who's ever had to deal with stop-and-start traffic on a daily basis!!! The HR-V proved to me there is such a thing as love at first sight.

Love this car

I love this car!!! It is very impressive with all I can do just by talking to the radio. I am 64yrs old and cars have come a VERY LONG WAY since my first car. The HRV is a very sharp looking car inside and out , my grandkids think I am a cool nana and this car helps me to feel it. It drives so nice, it is comfortable and I am very happy with it.

Great Vehicle!

I love this HR-V! Just the right size. Had a 1997 Honda Accord with 236,000 miles. Still runs, but it was time.

Don't Let Icons Fool You

I bought the car on May 13, 2017 so as if this writing, June 7, haven't driven it much. The Good: It gets great gas mileage. On the open road I was up to 35 MPG. In the city 30-31 MPG. It's a good size. It's smaller than the previous SUV I turned in, but it's big enough for travel and for my Greyhound dog to be comfortable in. The vehicle looks nice. The cargo door opens to a good height; I don't hit my head on it when bending into the cargo area. The longest trip I've taken with it was 75 miles, and I found it to be comfortable. The back seats fold down very easily. The leg room is generous, front and back. The Bad: The dashboard is a maze/mess of icons. I have no issue with tech things. I own most tech ?toys? that are available, from a smart phone to an Amazon Alexis. But the icons on the HR-V are a mess of location and menus. Technical equipment is supposed to make life easier and more efficient. The icons for choices of audio, heat/AC, fan, defrosters for front and back windows, temperature, etc., make them difficult to use when driving. This problem has diminished my enjoyment of the car a lot. It?s downright dangerous to be fumbling for an icon ? which one can?t fumble for because it?s flat against the screen ? because the driver has to take her eyes off the road. These icons are ridiculous and if I had thought about my purchase more, I would have looked at other car manufacturers.

Great vehicle for a great price

I narrowed my list to the HRV, CX-3, Corolla, Corolla IM. For the price, reliability, space, and a local dealer, I chose the HRV. Almost 3000 miles and averaging 34.2 MPG. Acceleration is good not great but typical of vehicles in this class. BT is very easy to set up and operate. I got the lowest trim level and CVT/FWD. was able to spend the trim savings on Weathertech mats and back seat car covers.

First car, comfortable and easy drive

First car I've owned. Great for the price. Stylish, lots of space, Bluetooth features for the radio I use every day. The seats can be put down or fully up. Lots of room to move things. Very comfortable drive, handles very well. I am pleased.
