Excited about Hybrid

Have had the car for one week, overall I am impressed. Went for the LX model, and so far it is meeting all my needs. Since purchase my average MPG is 43.5, and I have about 150 miles on it. Drives similarly to the Civic we owned previously, much sportier looking on the outside. I'm looking forward to reading the manual to really learn all the ins and outs of this car to maximize the functionality.

A hybrid car with a regular car price and design.

This hybrid is great! I love the bold look at the regular car price. It has all the technology I need for a convenient and productive commute. The touring trim makes the car payments worth it.

First and Best Car

The thing I like the most about this car is that nothing was really sacrificed for the efficiency of a hybrid. It's the best in it's class in 2019 for a reason. Great car to drive in any mode, but sports mode is probably my favorite. The brakes, handling, and suspension are top notch. The one real downside is fuel capacity, which was probably to reduce the overall weight of the car. Considering the mpg, that's hardly a problem since I almost forget to go to the pump.

Great commuter

Purchased this vehicle as a commuter. I was not looking forward to owning a commuter until I found this vehicle. It looks and feels very similar to an accord but has the mileage of a Prius.

Fuel economy steadily declines after 2 months

Car has all of the standard limitations of hybrids and now suffers from poor fuel economy (<36 mpg). Expensive (>$27K) and you get cheap plastic door levers and door panels. Goofball interior design with cloth covered door handles. Driving experience is misery with loud engine noise, engine vibration, and slow acceleration between 22-38 miles per hour. You will get a lot of angry stares from drivers following you when they pass you in the next lane. Extremely poor exterior fit and finish with orange peel paint spots and mismatched seams between the hood, trunk, and fenders. A Chevy salesman pointed out Honda's poor exterior fit and finish when he told me to compare the Insight to a Chevy Malibu. The Malibu's fit and finish is far superior to the Insight. I have extreme buyer's remorse.

I love my new Insight

This car is fun to drive and very comfortable inside. It looks like a standard sedan and I feel it is quieter and substantial than the 2014 Prius I was driving. I love the leather interior and the flat screen display/stereo and the ease of driving. I hate all the traffic in the bay area but this makes it bearable.

I am loving my Honda Insight

I have driven this car for 1500 miles. It is a smooth ride with good visibility and great mileage. The trunk is deceptively large and can hold much more than I expected. I do wish that it didn't sit so low to the ground but that is small in the grand scheme of this great car.

Easy to drive Hybrid- cool features

Decided to get a hybrid and glad I did. Got the Honda Insight and even though it has a lot of great features like USB ports and Apple Play, it's super easy to drive and looks great.

Proud Honda Insight owner

This car has exceeded my needs. My goal was to buy a hybrid and after test driving a Toyota Prius and a Kia Niro there was no doubt the Honda Insight was the right choice. Car play is great for navigating or receiving text messages because Siri takes over and all messages are received and replied audibly. The interior is very comfortable and visibility is exceptional.

Excellent Gas Mileage

We were forced into a quick decision (previous vehicle was totaled). Decided our priority was MPG. The Insight is a Hybrid, advertised around 50 MPG. Looked at others but decided on this, very happy with it, only negative is the Seat comfort - leaves much to be desired. If we did it over, I would go for the "Touring Model", better seats, better sound, and includes Navigation, which I was a little surprised the EX model did not include, but you can hook up your phone (if it is compatible) and use waze or Google maps for navigation. We are getting 50-55 MPG, which is saving our fuel bill about 50% over what we were paying.
