I am regretting that I went for Honda Odyssey

After buying new odyssey 2018 in three months I started seeing sliding doors not getting locked. I had to try 10-20 times to get them locked and leave it to my luck that they don't get unlocked while driving. When I went to dealer they just got recall of sliding doors and they turned off automatic sliding of doors. Since then I am using my new car like 20 years old model, and dealers still say that it is national problem and they don't have parts yet. In 6 months my experience is 3 months of new car and 3 months of old model car.... highly dissatisfied with Honda service...

Frustrating issues with Elite

Have two issues with the minivan. These issues are happening in 2018 model since there is not much change between 2018 and 2019. There is a very high probability that 2019 may also have this issue. 1) Van's speakers occasionally make ticking sounds for about 30 to 60 minutes. It also makes spark sounds when I try to unlock the door or when I release the brake after engine auto shutdown(elite feature). In total dealer has kept the vehicle for more than 35 days to fix this issue. 2) Van's A/C makes a high pitch sound. Again Honda does not have a fix for this. My personal suggestion will be to not purchase this until Honda finds a fix for the above two issues.

Very comfortable riding van. Solid!

Ride is very comfortable and solid. Feel very safe in this van. Really like this Van! Had other brand vans in the past but this one is far above the others in ride and comfort and quality.

Cruising with Grandma

At this point in my life I should be driving a sports car but due to current situation,a van is more practical. The Honda van is like riding in a luxury car with all the bells and whistle. I frequently forget I?m driving a van while zooming down the highway.

good choice

I like driving the van and all the features that it offers. It is easy to understand why I always drive a Honda once I first got one.

Safe, dependable, and everything I could ask for

My first 2018 Odyssey was totaled when someone ran a red light and tboned the car doing 55 mph. The outside looked bad and other than the airbags going off on the inside you would never know it was in an accident. The van did exactly what it was designed to do and my wife and 2 kids where safe and walked away with just a few bruises from the safety belts. If they where in a smaller vehicle they would not of been so lucky.

Perfect but for bit better tech & 300hp

We LOVE this van but do so wish it had an all-around & birdseye camera (& sensors) system. And altho the 280hp is very good, wish it had 300hp or better. The interior, exterior, doors & liftgate controls WONDERFUL!! Can?t say I love the touchscreen though.

2018 Honda Odyssey exl

Our car is ok but there is some stuff we don?t like about the car. Remote start has to have the doors locked and push button down for more than 5 seconds. There is no way of knowing that the car has started after you press and hold the remote start. Navigation/tachometer-speedometer/radio is all connected somehow and it died or blackout on us within two months of owning car. Took it to dealer and they had no clue on how to repair it or how it started to work again. FYI everything is digital on the car. There is a lock window button that you can engage but once it?s on no windows can open even with the drivers control. When your inside the vehicle and doors are locked you are unable to open the doors by pulling the handles and no way of starting the car unless you press on the brakes.

So many gotta have it features...

The Odyssey replaces a 10 yr old Sienna. A big leap forward in technology, driving dynamics, and safety. We debated between crossovers or another minivan, but dollar for dollar, the minivans are hard to beat. Cargo, comfort, fuel economy, and reliability.
