2019 Honda Passport EX-L

This is the nicest vehicle I have ever owned. The ride is very smooth and quiet. Plenty of leg room for all passengers along with lots of storage space for luggage, golf clubs, etc. The sound system rocks and the accessories are second to none.

Beware

From the time I picked up my new Passport, it has had repetitive problems ranging from constant vehicle instability warnings, a driver’s side window that gets stuck open (in Minnesota in the winter), defective front windshield (internally chipped under the mirror encasement) that spidered throughout, auto-start that does not reliably work, a defective seatbelt that damaged the footwell, a defective infotainment center (see class action lawsuit against Honda). The undercarriage began to rust just months after purchase (I have just over 6000 miles on it and rust continues to progress). When one attempts to shift from park or reverse into drive, it often takes two or three presses of the drive button before the car will move forward. We have been a honda family for almost three decades but this will be our last. DO NOT buy this car!

Very Impressed so far:)

Perfect mix of a CRV and a 3 row SUV. I purchased mine from Motorworld Honda in Wilkesbarre. I have the EXL. I would have preferred a Turbo Charged 4 cylinder but the 6 cylinder has been excellent. I've been averaging 22 MPG combined. I have about 4000 miles on and I love driving it. It handles very nicely. I've also driven it in Snow a number of times and it handled perfectly. The only negative is the stock tires that come with the car. I already replaced them. I also think Honda should have included a trail hitch for that price. Aside from that, I highly recommend it!

Test drive in city , notice tump noise from tires

This SUV is the right size for me being 6’ 2” But took it for my first highway trip the road noise from tires was bad , people in backseat were shaking they said your wheels are out of line; just had checked day before.

I am selling because I want to upgrade to the EXL

I purchased this car from Apple Tree Honda in Asheville NC in October 2019. Very comfortable, reliable vehicle. Only 217 miles. I wanted a V6 because I planned to tow a camper. Would consider buyer taking over monthly payments if they have good credit.

Excellent Value, well designed SUV!

Wanted a small/mid size two-row SUV that I could drive around town and take camping. All the small SUVs seem under-powered with small wimpy 4-cyl engines and I did not want a CVT transmission. The Passport TOURING (w/AWD) fit all my requirements: a great smooth drive, plenty of power, 9-spd transmission, loads of safety features, a great stereo (that is even great since I upgraded the speakers!) loads of space, rear seats fold down perfectly flat, LED headlights, Apple Play, nice interior, smoked windows in rear and back. I have owned it about 10 months and still love it and would purchase it again in a second! BTW: my last two cars were BMW 3-series and they were great cars, but I do NOT missed either of them one bit! PS: Yes the push button transmission looks odd at first, but I love it and would NOT trade it for a Lever/Handle: plus you can just turn the PP off while in DRIVE and it automatically rests to PARK!

I’ve only had it for a few hundred miles. So hard

So far in a couple of months since we’ve owned it we love it. Last car had no technology at all so there is a learning curve. Like everything else I’m sure there are features we were lower than usual all the time and somethat we will never use. Wife has trouble stepping up into it, considering a running board. But first impression is, best car I’ve ever owned.

New Vehicle-Great Decision

We just purchased our 2019 Passport Elite to replace our 2017 Pilot. We loved the pilot but never used the 3rd row seating. The AWD Passport is nimble, powerful and comfortable. We're big fans of Honda, in general, and this vehicle earns every bit of our praise.
