JUST DONT DO IT
This is the worst vehicle I have ever owned. Everything is slow to react and/or imprecise, the cruise control in either mode is abominable. The transmission wanders around and you need to wait for it to to get in its low gear when you stop and restart quickly. The controls were engineered by a 3yr old. Highway mpg is 22 to23. I am a car guy . If you are also, and share high expectations even for moderately priced vehicles - RUN away. If you just want to get from A to B and you are not picky how- enjoy true mediocracy.
Love my Passport
After owning 2 CRV’s I decided to go with something larger. I’d initially been considering the Pilot, but I didn’t want or need the third row of seats. I’ve had my 2022 Passport for exactly a year now, and I love it. It makes me happy every time I get behind the wheel. For the size of the vehicle the gas mileage isn’t bad; I’m averaging 15-18mpg city and 23-27mpg highway. It handles well and is very comfortable. I’m not a fan if the idle stop, but that seems to be standard on many vehicles now. I’ve become accustomed to turning it off immediately, so it’s not a problem.
Not great and not bad.
2022 Passport only has 900 miles on it. Been driving for over 60 years and will say this vehicle is one of the more difficult ones to drive -- the long hood really makes it impossible to tell where the right front fender is when parking. I have a great feel of a vehicle while driving and can say that the Passport does not offer that feeling. Will say that Honda quality for final inspections is sloppy as the Passport came with all 4 wheels unbalanced. Passport is also a very low seller for a variety of reasons. Given all that, it's still a good vehicle that takes time to warm up to.
2022 Honda Passport
I Love My Passport! It runs great, and is very good Off Road with it's AWD! However, I think it, like many other new cars are overpriced today by about $10k
Love the vehicle but…….
Love this vehicle with the exception of the automatic idle shut off. Seems to me it would put added wear and tear on the starter in addition to using more fuel starting the engine every time you stop. You have to remember to hit the off button every time you start the car. Cruise control jerks a bit while going downhill also. Great comfort, very quiet, easy to get in and out of and roomy.
Really like the car with a 3 exceptions
Might be too soon to review. Only have 500 miles on it. I really do like it. I have previously had 2 CRV's with a much smaller engine and they were much quicker to accelerate and naturally got far better gas mileage. In Sport mode it is very quick even with "echo" on. I have been getting 17 to 19 mpg. Maybe it will improve in time. It is very comfortable and has great safety features. My biggest complaint is with the very low sound with the turn-signals. (CRV's were equally TOO quiet). I can't imagine why Honda doesn't improve the sound. I've adjust sound level to the highest level and with the radio on, I can't hear that the turn signals didn't shut off when making a turn. I checked the internet and found that lots of customers complain about this with Honda's. I asked the dealer service dept if there was a work around and they said it has come up from time to time and no solution available. The service manager said he drives a VW and the turn signals are much louder. My wife's KIA Laporte 's turn signals are 10 times louder than the Passport (Trailsport) Not a dealbreaker...just annoying.
This is my second Passport after trading in my 2020 for the 2022 Trailsport. Could not be happier! Great styling and amazing ride! Highly recommend!
Love my 2020 PASSPORT
I had a 2020 Passport then traded for this one....upgraded to the Passport Elite AWD in the blue. Love love this car! Has heated and COOLED seats....living in AZ, it is a must!! Very quiet on inside, smooth ride. No major changes since the 2020, but I loved that car too!
Love my 2022 Honda Passport. Fun to drive and gets good gas mileage in town and on the road. Comfortable interior and amazing exterior make this my best vehicle ever.
Go anywhere capability and fun to drive
Love my Passport Elite AWD. Very comfortable, very quiet and fun to drive. Great fuel economy if you drive it right too, about 25-27 mpg on the highway.
