So far, So good.
It's only been 1.5 months, but it's been a great vehicle. Gas mileage is POOR! I average 18-20mpg. I do a ton of driving and feel like I'm filling up every 4-5 days. Space is amazing. Rear heat is weird/controls are counter-intuitive and "locking" the controls from the kids, actually changes the settings (WHY?) Good get-up-and-go! wide turning radius, I wasn't expecting that. Great back up camera, tiny moon roof, but functional. Not a fan of the leather seats, guess I'm just prefer cloth, although easy to clean. Power lift gate is a nice feature with three little kids and always an arm full of stuff. Shifter is located oddly on the dash, constantly whacking it reaching for the heat controls. Dash features are not super user friendly, for instance to clear the trip computer (miles driven for the tank of gas) you have to enter and reenter the screens to clear both trips counted. Drops calls for a moment, transfers back to cell, then to Bluetooth. This happens frequently! super annoying. Glove box is tiny. Center console is a bit of wasted space, could be better designed. If you are on the shorter side (I'm 5ft 2in) this car may not be the best for you. It took my a LOT of adjusting to fine a suitable seat position that doesn't make my hips/leg hurt during travel. I'm young, I shouldn't have hip pain after driving for 40 minutes. Nice space for the kids. fairly easy to install all three car seats, leather seats always add a challenge. Haven't utilized the third row yet, enjoying the HUGE cargo area with the third row laid down. with a roof rack, (approx $500 to install) we'll be all set for camping this year. Brakes are touchy, they are new and seem to collect mud and snow more then any other vehicle I've driven. Can know it out of Drive into Neutral while driving just with a slight accidental bump of the shiftier. Considerable blind spots when cheeking for on coming/passing traffic.... using multiple check points is a must!

Good car for the price. Will hold it's value and is very reliable. Very spacious on the inside with tons and tons of storage.

Average at Best
I am a lifelong Honda owner from my CRX in college to my current Honda Pilot(7 cars in total). We purchased the Touring model in 2012. The car is made cheaply and the technology compared to other cars of this generation is lackluster. I doubt I'll go back to looking at them again.

I've wanted this car for years! It's mine now!
I have wanted a Burgundy Touring Pilot for years. I finally found it! I traded in a 2003 for a 2013. Wow what a difference in 10 years. The ride is so smooth and the technology is unreal compared to 10 years.

2013 Honda Pilot
I like my Honda very much , but have run into many cost factors. At 105,000 you need a new timing chain , about $1500.00 Then the bushing are bad on a Pilot , another $900.There are 3 air filter on a pilot , around $100 every 30,000 miles. It seems like almost I take it in for a oil change , it is costing $100's of dollar for repairs.

Roomy gas guzzler
The Honda pilot is a spacious vehicle. The interior sides are cheap plastic which feels like it can break easily. The electrical components inside are no different than any other honda line up. There are two (2) big drawback i have with the vehicle; it's cumbersome to drive and eats up gas. Driving is something to get used. however, the gas is not what its advertised. if you want to get close to what is advertised you must baby the accelerator.

Bodacious
The car performs really well and has the space that I needed. It came with some options that I really like: backup camera, trailer hitch, roof rack, moon roof, climate control separate for driver, passenger and backseat, as well as the third row back seats which comes in handy. The only potential downside is the best mileage I can get is about 15mpg. That will hurt when gas prices skyrocket again.

Human Torture Chamber
I have the Honda Pilot 2013 EX-L. I bought this car in September of 2015 to replace my 2004 Buick Ranier CXL. The exterior color is Amber Metallic (Brown) with a light tan interior. I'll start with THE GOOD: I actually liked the boxy look of the car and like the fact that it has a ton of space inside. The center console and armrest is my favorite. The third row is a plus. It get's a lot better gas mileage than my other car and I feel it will likely run forever. THE BAD: So aside from the leather heated seats, Honda doesn't put a lot of extra features on the car like I had on the Buick. If I want to switch from viewing my gas mileage to my trip counter, I have to push a button n the front panel. The car stereo is not touch screen, I would think this would be a standard feature on a 2013 model car . The trim on the doors looks kinda cheap, like something you would find on a base model car, not made by Honda. The way they designed the seats makes it a little difficult to get in an out of. If they had made the seat flat, instead of the lip on the outside, it would be much easier. THE UGLY: Okay, so unfortunately for me I did not test drive this car long enough. I noticed the day after I bought this car that after driving about 30 minutes my back, and rear hurt, BAD. After an hour I felt like I had been in a fight with an elephant...2 elephants, and had lost. When I say this is the most uncomfortable seat I have ever been in. They should use this car to torture criminals. It's awful. A back, hip and rear killer. As soon as I can get rid of it I will. It's unfortunate because I like the way it looks and feel that it would run forever. sigh.

Second time around
I traded a 2006 Pilot - bought used and kept for 6 years - for a used 2013 EX. Considered the LX briefly but there was a large drop-off in standard features between the two models. The EX rides nicely and is well equipped with Blue Tooth, back-up camera, separate temperature zones, 3rd row integrated head rests (no more removing them to fully fold down the 3rd row), and numerous other features that make it a fun car to own. More an observation than criticism, but it seems to ride much higher than my old Pilot. Styling is sort of big and boxy, but I'm willing to trade the look for the convenience of 8-passenger seating and more than ample storage. Hope to have it for some time to come.

Great SUV
EXL 4x4. I was able to get a new one for 29900 so it was cheaper than some of the used models. We looked at fords, chevy, toyota. This SUV fits our four young children great and 2 dogs when we need to take them. PLenty of room for long road trips and storage for everyone. Great SUV. We average about 19 in the city driving the kids to school nice an easy. In the HIGHWAY we were able to get 27 MPG. Handles great in the snow and powers up the mountains in Colorado without problems. I like the look My only complaint is NO mute button for radio and phone and NO pause button for the radio! whats up with that honda?? Also the acceleration is not like the V8 tahoe we used to have but the gas mileage and extra space in the back is worth it It handles great for camping and in the mountains and snow. Slight off trail no problems
