Absolutely love the Prelude. Iโ€™ve owned two.

The final generation of the Prelude is a fantastic car for your money. I predict value of clean examples will continue to increase in the future. With basic maintenance these cars will last 250k+ with minimal problems, if you have a 5 speed. Keep the oil topped off the valves adjusted, and with regular tuneups every 40,000 miles, this car will never leave you stranded.

Handles exceptionally. Reliable. Quick.

This car is amazing. With the right tuning she has the potential to go 300 plus HP. Handles like an F1 racing car. Hydraulic steering is fluid and responsive. Low. Drives amazing!

Affordable Coupe

This car is awesome for a prelude enthusiast. Have fun riding it within budget and not a top dollar price. Very reliable, enjoyable. Just do regular maintenance, and they will last way more than 200K miles. I have personally owned several preludes, and never had any major issues with them, just regular maintenance, and not to mention, after I sell them, start missing them, and then buy again:)

Prelude to noise

The car was too noisy to keep but it performed well. I was unable to find a "blanket" for attaching to the underside of the hood to reduce the noise level.

Trouble Free Car

This is a nice sports coupe that does not hit your pocket badly and has decent power with the nice v-tech kick into it. You can ask any prelude lover, and he will advocate for it. Has never stopped on me on the road. Very reliable vehicle.

Noisy Honda?

I bought this car because of its appearance and hp. I sold it a year later because of the engine noise. (I'm hearing impaired). Efforts to quiet the car were unsuccessful as I couldn't locate an under-the-hood pad.

Most Enjoyable 2 dr coupe I've Owned

I had several preludes some with higher mileage and drove better than low mileage engines as they were maintained better all along, but I have enjoyed the v-tech engine of all of the preludes with the v-tec kick when given quick acceleration. I love them, and always received positive comments on them when I have owned them.
