I'm amazed by how well-concieved this truck is.
From the in-bed trunk, to the fold-up back seats, to the innovative arm rest storage I can't think of a better truck for me ? or for almost anyone. While I didn't drive some of its competitors, I did some seat testing in the Frontier and Tacoma. I am a fairly big guy, and the Tacoma was too tight up front, and with the seats set for me up front, there wasn't any leg room behind. The Frontier was a bit comfier, but rear seats would be a back breaker on a trip of any distance. I can have the front seat in the Ridgeline set all the way back, and still fit comfortably behind it. And if I want, I can flip up the rear seats and stick in my mountain bike. The in-bed trunk is already in use for my fishing and kayaking gear. The tie downs in the bed will be perfect for securing my kayaks until I get the roof rack. I've been getting about 19 mpg in mixed driving. It does pretty good driving up into the mountains west of Denver. And it's so smooth. Not like any other truck I have ever driven.

Most reliable car I have owned.
After owning this truck for many years I have never had one problem. With 165,000 miles it is still a great truck.

One of the BEST trucks I've had
The Honda Ridgeline is one of the best trucks I've ever seen or worked with. It is very reliable and the dent proof bed is amazing when hauling a lot of different objects.

Comfortable, reliable, versatile
I just traded my original 2006 Ridgeline bought in spring of 2005 for a used 2013 Ridgeline. During it's 12 years and 307,000 miles (Yes, 307,000) my Ridgeline never failed to get me where I was going, whether highway or backwoods (Im a professional forester, timber farmer, and timberland real estate broker). Even over 300,000 miles I still loved my 2006 and it was still comfortable and dependable. When time came to replace I did not even shop for any other brand or model, not only because of past service, but also due to to the in-bed trunk. (By the way, you can laugh off the condescending comments of the "real truck" guys, some of whom I think are trying to mask insecurities regarding their manhood by driving big, noisy collages of metal and stickers.)

Best Vehicle I've ever Owned by far
Purchased my Ridgeline in July 2005, one of the first off the line. I now have over 300,000km on it and it still drives and looks brand new. Living in Ottawa, Canada, the winters are tough on vehicles. My truck has no rust anywhere and the 4WD is amazing in the thickest of snow. I've never had any problems with this truck. I drive it like I hate it and it takes a licking. In fact, it likes to work/run hard without even a whimper. I've only done the recommended service/maintenance, most of which I perform myself (very easy to service). I've only had to change my Catalytic Converters (used new Magnaflows) and only because of the torture and high temperatures I put this vehicle through. The ride is amazing and corners like it's on rails. It's exceptionally comfortable and roomy inside, even in the back seat where 3 adults can sit comfortably with plenty of leg room. I've owned over 30 vehicles in my lifetime and this is the best by far. I drive my vehicles until they are dead or I can't trust the reliability. Although I can't wait to buy a new Ridgeline (and I fully intend to), I'm sure I'll have to wait a few years or more for this one to let me down. Yes this truck is expensive but when you figure it all out, it's a bargain and has a great re-sale value. I can't say enough great things about this truck. Anyone I know that has driven or owned one, shares my sentiments.

Hard to Find Fault
It is not easy to find fault on a Honda Ridgeline. It has all the virtues of a Honda. If you have driven a Pilot or Odyssey, even the more compact Accord or Civic, you will feel at home on a Ridgeline. It is so easy to live with, quite unbecoming of a typical truck. Its drivetrain is responsive and silky smooth, yet quite capable of the occasional off-roading and snow treking. The cabin feels solid, devoid of shudder and body flex. Handling is superb. You don't have to "fight" the truck to steer it to the direction you wish. Rather, it follows your every command with poise and agility. Thanks to independent suspension all around. Much has been said of the clever conveniences in and around the truck. An owner of the Honda Ridgeline appreciates them best.

nice truck
Great truck, only complaint is MPG, but still better than most other used trucks. If you need a truck to compensate for your short comings than this one isn't for you. Haven't driven in snow yet so I can't report on that yet but overall I like it.

The perfect urban/suburban vehicle
I bought mine with over 101k miles and the engine, tranny and ride is smooth and supple. The looks remind me of the Warthog SUT in the Halo video games. I'm averaging over 17 mpg combined mostly in town, which has included trips to the county dump with the bed full and pulling a loaded utility trailer. Its cool and current enough to get asked about it wherever I go, but old enough to be able to have found a clean example at under $14k used. The in bed trunk is a no brainer that sold me on this truck over a more capable towing truck. Chances are, I'll never tow over 5k lbs, but will use the trunk EVERY DAY. I also love the huge, W I D E and open cabin and usable space under the fold up rear seats. The bed seems super wide (49 1/2" by 60") and is plenty long enough for suburban or mild rural life. It's rated to carry over 3/4 ton. I highly recommend it.

Half car Half Truck
Great light duty truck. Drives like a dream. Really like the trunk in the bed. Mine had 107k miles when I bought it (used) to replace my F350 diesel dually. It is the correct truck for my current needs, and gets decent gas mileage. Love the 4-wheel drive. I am pleased with the purchase!
