wow great truck
I've always grow up all round toyota truck guys. And before buying my 06 ridgeline they were not happy and wanted me to get a toyota. But no I went with what I wanted and is happier then ever. Yes I have drove the stronger tundra but the power to weight ratio does change allot. with just the ridgeline Rt it gives you the same power as any ridgeline which is 255hp and 250tq so thats more then enough power. I had to sale my 08 civic Si with allot of modified parts but over all it was worth it for this truck.

I love my RIDGELINE
At first, I was skeptical when I looked at this truck. First thing that popped into my mind was, a Honda Truck? Really? SO I decided to test drive it and I fell in love! It drives like a car and performs like a truck. What more do you really want? Gas mileage is decent. So far no complaints. Only wish they used the armrest console like the avalanche, switches into a middle seat. but other than that, I LOVE IT!

Nice Truck/SUV combo choice
I was looking for an SUV with the truck bed...I was turned off a little bit by the Honda Ridgeline style, preferred a Ford. I tried both......I have to tell you everything I did not like with the Ford SportTrac I love in the Honda. The built in cargo (trunk) is really cool.....and the roomy cabin won me over. I have had a Honda car anbd this truck rides like a dream. I challenge you to test this one out before making any decision.

1st Time Ridgeline Owner - from a Honda Element
I bought my Ridgeline 4 months ago and couldn't be happier with it. I had driven Honda Elements for the prior 5 years but wanted more horsepower. The Ridgeline had more power, greater road visibility and AWD. The rear seats fold up to allow LOTS of cargo space in the back. The in-bed trunk is gargantuan and allows us to go shopping AND bring the kids, without putting anything in the bed of the truck. The smooth ride is a dream and the legendary Honda quality is built in as well. A lot of professional reviewers are unhappy with the "retro" knobs on the dash, but I like them. They are large, easy to use and can be easily turned with gloves on. In life, you generally get what you pay for and with this truck, you get it all. You owe to yourself to check one out.

Best Choice for a car/truck.
Bought mine new Nov 2005. Never been to repair shop except for scheduled maintenance (56K miles). 4 WD is excellent in every condition I have used it. If there was a complaint, it would be lack of torque when towing. mileage suffers severely, I.E. 9.5 mpg towing upright 24 ft traveltrailer.

Nice but....
I was sancwiched between two friends. One telling me I should buy the Ridgeline, one a Tacoma. I bought the Ridgeline. The ride is good but noisey. The cheap interior has worn on me. I have never used some of the features Honda was promoting heavily. This makes me feel like I might have been better off with the other choice. Also, my "truck" buddies have been relentless with their ridicule.

Never been a better vehicle built than RTL
Bought my 2006 Honda Ridgeline RTL in Jul 2005. This truck is simply amazing in terms of style, quality, durability and ease of handling. I've owned pickups before but never had one that performs or compares to this RTL. Basically, I have driven Audis for the past 10-12 years; bought a new one every 2 years, now I really don't need another - this "truck" drives as well as my most luxuriant Audi ever did. I'm totally pleased with everything about this truck with the exception of the rear view restrictions. Since it has the high headrests and the "sails" on the extended bed, it is a bit difficult to see clearly out the back window. The side mirrors, being large as they are help quite a bit though. I have only driven this truck approximately 22,000 miles since new. I've taken it on trips from Virginia to Atlanta several times and it purrs like a kitten even when driven long distances at very high speeds. I have kept meticuloous records on fuel consumption and averaged; over the life span of this truck, 26.4 MGP Highway and 19.3 MPG urban. Very good, in my opinion. My wife has always disliked riding in anything other than a couple of large Cadillacs or high end Buicks that we have owned over the years; especially on longer travels such as to Atlanta. She definitely DID NOT ride in any of my trucks and did not like the hard, tight rides of the Audi's. However, she really loves to ride in this Honda Ridgeline. Being up higher and with the ultra smooth ride (High End Michelins help a lot). She says she enjoys riding in the Honda and the 1,100 mile round-trips are easy to take. I'd recommend the Honda Ridgeline RTL to anyone.

Best truck I've ever driven
I have once owned a Ridgeline, but it was reposessed because of financial hardship. If I had a choice to choose for a free vehicle between a Hummer or a Honda Ridgeline, I would definitely choose a Ridgeline again.I have driven a Toyota, Mazda, Nissan, Ford, Dodge, Chevrolet, Datsun trucks. Out of all I have driven in the past, nothing can beat or come close to the Honda Ridgeline. Comfort and stability feels like a car but yet it is a truck with truck capabilities.I think this is Hondas first truck built and it just exceeds all others!!!

The best vehicle I've ever owned
I got my 06 Ridgeline Dec 05, a dealer demo w/5K miles. I towed our 23' sailboat and was suprised at the power and how well this truck handled with that much weight. The auto transmission works very well under all conditions, keeping the motor in its power band. The ride is very smooth yet firm feeling. I get 20 mpg around town driving. Seating is very comfortable. Rear vision is not great and would recomend the optional rear backup sensors.
