Best Car I've Ever Had
I've owned my Honda S2000 for 4 years. It's never had a single mechanical or body problem, and it still hauls butt just like the first day I had her. Great car, style, handling, reliability, everything. The 2004 - 2009 models are better for city driving than the earlier models, because the VTech turbo kicks in a a higher RPM (around 4500) than the earlier 2000 - 2003 Honda (around 2500 RPM). Two thumbs way up!

EXCELLENT ROADSTER
This car is a true roadster, with plenty of performance and handling. Along with Honda's world renown reliability you can't go wrong. Had mine for two years and loved every second of it.

Ultimate "toy"
I absolutely love this car. Were ever I drive this car I am always getting looks or people are asking me questions. The two minor complaints I have is that the convertible top cover is a pain to put on and the carbon dust build up on the wheels is a pain to remove. Other than that, this vehicle is the ultimate "toy".

For Those Looking For A Roadster
The high RPM's are great fun, then as you look down at the digital speedometer, you think about the price of the speeding ticket. The initial getup is slow, but once your high in 2nd gear, the freeway is your playground. The s2000 has good room for a 2 seater, but it's not suitable for long drives or commutes. The turn radius is bad and there are not many available interior comfort features. The ride is bumpy and the engine is loud. But, once you put the top down and take a sharp turn 3 times faster than the car behind you (without even a chirp from the tires), you'll remember you got this car for pleasure, not business.

It's a real sports car!
I have read critic reviews that complain about the stiff ride of this car. It's a sports car for heaven sakes! Yes, it doesn't ride like a Buick. It corners like a go cart and accelerates like a rocket just like real sports cars do. The Honda S2000 is a lot of fun to drive if you are into "driving" and a lot of work if you are not. Beyond that, it's reliable, beaurtiful, sexy, and a joy to own.

S2000
Great vehicle, handles well, great with mileage, its a Honda , what can I say. Had a del sol before, guess I just love the sports car, also have a CRV and looking forward to see what the 2007 crv will look like, thinking of getting one. Guess I am a Honda lover, then there are 3 crv in the family, they also, are great vehicles.

Best car I've ever worn. Perfect at 6'2" & 200 lbs
I drove (2) pre-2002 S-2000's and (3) 2002 - 2003 S-2000's before I bought a 2004 model with the optional hard-top. The 2004 and up model years have a noticable increase in power in the "polite commuting and cruising" rev-range, and there was quite a bit less noise, vibration, and harshness than the earlier (00 - 01) cars I drove. One 2001 model honestly felt like a little 80's Toyota pick-up truck in the dealer parking lot. I hope the lower NVH is due to design improvements rather than wear, because the miles on the truck-like 2001 were less than 20,000. I drove the car once in about an inch of snow, and the lack of traction control on one slow, curving up-hill section was definately missed. The 2006 models have it, but I have no idea if it's any good, and it doesn't matter anyway because electronic throttle control is required, and it was also introduced in 2006 (no retrofit possibility without serious money). The hardtop, by the way, was worth every extra second of searching, as well as appreciated during the 500 mile drive home. Last car was an E-36 M3. Seats are almost as good. Handling is sharper, engine is not as smooth, and lacks some usable power, but the Yamaha Banshee powerband makes up for it. Although the heater is outstanding, and has allowed top-down driving on some pretty chilly evenings, I did retrofit a BMW E-36 3-series seat and seat-back heater to the S-2000, and it hasn't caught fire yet, so that makes it pretty much perfect.
