2011 Hyundai ELANTRA consumer reviews

This car is a good car overall but the Hyundai company know that the 2011-2012 Elantra as well as the Sonata the 2.0 and 2.4 GDI has an engine problem it's called piston slap the material that cover the pistons comes off of the pistons witch causes the pistons to slap agents the pistons sleeves in the engine when you start them up it will have a loud knock sound coming from the engine compartment. the Hyundai co. didn't recall the 2011 ELANTRA for the engine problem witch is a slap in the face of the 2011 Elantra owners. I have purchased and owned other Hyundai vehicles. I would recommend Hyundai to others. I recently purchased in March 2019 a 2009 Santa Fe for my 77 year old mother. I also help my senior neighbor get out of her 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis and in to a 2013 Santa Fe. The Hyundai co. makes good automobiles purchase one and see.

I can't go on enough about Hyundai. They last FOREVER! After close to 200,000 miles they only ever need minimal repair and maintenance. I love how they look and handle. All the good things.

This is a good driving car,less gas on mileage, clean car and everything I want in car and out of car.it has phone and GPS service,Rear camera and love the color

This car will not start at times. I've had several different mechanics looking at it. I will never buy another Hyundai again not do I recommend this headache to anyone.

I am very happy with my used Elantra. It’s sporty styling and overall performance makes it a joy to drive. Excellent gas mileage, and very roomy interior front and back. A great choice.

I love the light steering sensitivity. It has great gas milage. Excellent storage and leg room space. The brakes for the Hyundai Elantra are extermly reliable. There have been situations, if that the brakes were weak or worn, I probably would have had a wreck. Light sensitivity on the steering wheel, gives it a simple feel. Not like moving a rock left or right. Air conditioning feels works as expected. Having the sunroof gives it frosting on the cake. A lot of my friends love having the sunroof out, and cruising on the highway or downtown. Audio sounds amazing. Having the bass cranking, watching my windows vibrate to the beat. Overall, I would recommened the vechile or Hyundai in general. Yes, I can only say this because it's my first car, but still. I would look at Hyundai first before any other car manufacuture.

The car was kept in super nice condition, haven?t had it long enough to make extensive judgement yet. However, it drives really well so far.

Feels good to drive an ecologically responsible car that is lightweight, easy to drive, comfortable and very good looking! Love the sunroof, let's you let the environment in!
