Horrible website cars.com

This website allows and car dealership to list any location. Sadly all dealerships are 45 min to 3 hr drive. Really, I don't have a vehicle, hence why I'm looking. Sadly this dealership will deliver the vehicle after I finance before seeing our looking at vehicle!!!

A really good car for the price

I Have owned this car for about 7yrs, I bought brad new and I've always had the dealer to to the maintenance services, until it reached the 100K miles, at that point I started having a few issues starting the car and shifting gears, I took it to the dealer and they couldn't figured out what was wrong with it, o decided to take it to my family's mechanic, who ispected the car and found out there was a problem with the KRAM sensor and the transmission was also damaged, sometimes the car would lose power while driving it or it went off when stop. After the transmission and the kram sensor were replaced at 102K miles, the car is like it was brand new at 110K. Hopefully it's last 500K more.

I am frustrated as xxxx cause all service dept could tell by me I need new engine. If Hyundai only makes their engine last that long, I sure will not buy another one

Most Reliable car I've Owned

Beautiful, Comfortable, Safe car. The design is so stylish! Would be better with blue tooth Option. Can't beat the added safety with so many airbags

Hyundai elantra, ok the value of the car

I have owned four Hondas and one Toyota. Only Toyota been as good as Honda. Hyundai in my opinion should improve their parts quality, I know is coming from Korea, no Japan, but still they should improve.

Love it

I am 61, kids grown and no need for a van or truck. My elantra has 75k gets cleaned weekly, no smoking or eating. This will more than likely be my last car. Fun to drive and other than normal maintenance it is perfect. When I get in my car I am in heaven, keeping my car in this shape let's me get in a new car everyday. If something happens to it I will get another

I’ve had this car about 2 months. I LOVE IT!! I’l

This car is awesome. Looks brand new. Drives so smooth and easy I sometimes forget I’m driving (not a good Idea ☹️). I’ll probably drive the wheels off of it before I trade it, if ever. I had my previous car for 17 yrs., so this should last me forever!!

Great Car, but Gas Mileage could be better.

I currently have a 2012 Hyundai Elantra for roughly seven and a half years now. Currently has 135,600 miles on it and never had any major issues with it. But the car was first rated at 29 city and 40 highway then changed to 28 city and 38 highway and 32 average. The last time I calculated the gas mileage for my car, I drove mostly highway and country roads with a light foot and only managed to average 31.4 MPG. Not terrible, but not great either. I almost never put on the air conditioning during the entire week with the car from full to almost empty. A lot of people are complaining about gas mileage with the Elantra as well, and it seems the Elantra of this model year is getting a few MPG lower in the real world than the rated EPA numbers. Even most other compact cars in the 2012 model years such as the Cruze, Focus, Civic and even the outdated Corolla are still averaging around 32 to 34 MPG while many people are only averaging 28 to 30 MPG with the Elantra. People are getting around the same gas mileage with the 2012 Camry 2.5 four cylinder. Even other Hyundai cars in the 2012 model year are getting real world gas mileage matching the EPA rated. Otherwise, for a seven and a half year old car, it still feels very solid, almost no creaks or rattles unless the weather outside is cold, the front seats are comfortable and the rear seats are like a couch, roomy interior, and overall a very reliable and safe commuter car. Not the best real-world MPG, but still fairly decent and I still recommend the 2012 Elantra to someone searching for a reliable used car.
