Most reliable car I've owned.

This car met all my needs, it had leg room in the front and the back. It has 3 USB ports. Plenty of room in the trunk, I have a 12 inch sub in the back and still have room

Excellent all around

Comfortable ride, roomy interior, great styling and even better than expected MPG. I routinely get 40 mpg on the highway, without extreme measures. Only downside to the car relates to tires - no spare and cheap tires from the factory. I replaced with top of the line tires and the handling was great- especially in wet conditions.

Nice looking but not a lot of power

Hyundai really stepped up the design of the outside of the vehicle but the interior left a little to be desired. Only came in black or ugly mustard color. Had a lot of pep and I did enjoy driving it but not much room inside.

well built solid ride

Always had Hondas so high standard of comparison (not quite as good)but overall quiet solid ride with ample power. Comfortable interior although slightly stiff over bumps especially with the limited model's low -profile tires. Only real complaint are a few pesky quirks like occasional rough idle for no apparent reason

Great on gas mileage.

Nice stylish and reliable car to get you where you need to go with minimal cost. I have owned it for four years with no problems.

Surprise package!

We were looking for a second car in the compact sedan/coupe category. This buy was a surprise one as we were not in for a Hyundai. But since the test drive, i think it was given me the most value for my money. Fully loaded buy at a very decent price.

Plenty of room for a big guy.

I was looking for a reliable used car to commute to work. I looked at some Fords and i kept on hitting my head getting into the car. That was not the case for the Elantra. I was not expecting all the bells and whistles that the car had. Very pleased to drive this car.

Probably the best car I've ever had.

I got this car in 2012. I loved it immediately. I thought it looked sleek, I liked the color, and when I turned the key, I couldn't even tell that it was on. I love the stereo, I like my music loud, and the stereo doesn't have any issues with volume or crackling speakers or anything with that. I thought the display was great at first (until I saw one with a GPS). I love the way the buttons are laid out and the steering wheel controls are awesome and convenient too. Performance: While it's not going to win any races, it can definitely keep up on the highway. I don't know the 0-60 stats, but I assume they're not great. A few times when I accelerated quickly, smoke shot out the back of the car. It's also not great on hills. This may have something to do with the Eco button, which wasn't really explained to me in great detail as to it's purpose. I just got that if I wanted to really open it up on the highway, to shut it off. As far as mileage, it isn't the best, but in no way is it the worst I've had either. I still seem to need to get gas once a week, just like my former vehicle. Comfort: As for comfort, the heated seats are great, the seat is comfortable, the steering wheel is comfortable, there's plenty of leg room, and I've never had any issues on long trips. Looks/Design: I personally think it's a great looking car. It's sporty without being a sports car, and I love the silver. I like the interior. Issues: My biggest issue towards the 4th year of having my Elantra is the trunk. About once a month the trunk will pop open for seemingly no reason. I looked online and a lot of people seem to have the same problem. The common cause is supposedly people holding the button on their key fob down in their pocket. The last 3 cars I've had have had trunk buttons on the key, and I never had this problem with any of them, so I'm not convinced. All in all, it's a great car. You can get newer ones for cheaper now, but I would have paid the same amount again for a newer model of the same car.

Comfort and style

The Hyundai Elantra combines a roomy interior with a sleek and sporty exterior to provide a comfortable stylish ride. It has up to date technology with xm radio and Bluetooth technology. Add to that, superior gas mileage at nearly 40 mpg highway. And you have grateful value in a reasonably priced, vehicle.
