Genesis Coupe delivers
I recently purched a silver Hyundai Genesis 3.8 manual coupe. I got a really great deal on it! I love it! I used to own a 2004 Mazda RX-8, but this is way more fun and faster. I also get way better gas milage! I love to turn off the traction control and smoke the tires. It's like I own a G37 at less than half the price! If you are looking for a muscle car/sports car and your buget is around 20k buy a Hyundai Genesis 3.8 manual coupe! I'm glad I did!

Excellent car for the money
I love this car. I came out of a 350Z so was hesitant on how I would enjoy driving this car. I have the 2.0 sport model with the 19 inch tires and the brembo brakes. It rides great. Has all the features I want. The Hyundai warranty is an added plus. I highly recomment this model and car.

Genesis Coupe
The Genesis that I purchased is really decent for the price. It handles like it is on rails. 2.0t back seat isn't fit for anyone bigger than a child though. Fast enough to get in trouble and a blast to drive. Also, real good gas mileage. A real plus the way gas is going. If I was looking for a sport car I would recomend checking this vehicle out.

German quality for 40% of the cost.
Superbly engineered machine. Astonishing performance from v6. Weight distribution, rear-wheel drive, independant suspension, power/weight ratio and unequally sized front/rear low profile tires make for exceptional handeling. Extremely tight and quiet, but makes a delicious throaty roar under hard acceleration. 20 - 30 MPH, even better under ideal conditions. Clutch and transmission are superb. Gears subtlely snap into place. Throws are short. Very few negatives. Full set of gauges would be nice, but not available even on Track model. Center console is cheesy looking with "burnished aluminum" that is really plastic. Everything is too big. Exterior design is excellent and eye catching in red or yellow with the rear spoiler, but without these, and in a neutral color, it blends in with a hundred other cars. There are also way too many high tech gadgets and gizmos on it. The R-Speck model has solved this problem, but I have the Track model. First gear syncro is not friendly when downshifting. I have not had the car long enough to address reliability.

This is not your Mom's Hyundai
I had very specific items that I wanted in my new car. Navigation with voice recognition, high performance, sporty look outside and in. Pretty simple you would think, but not really. I narrowed it down to the 2010 Acura TL and the Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track. For $20,000 less than the TL I have an amazing car that not only exceeded my expectation for the items I wanted, but for things I didn't know I would enjoy. The Genesis Coupe 3.8 has 306 HP and handles like you are driving a video game car. I have the 19 in. wheels with Brembo brakes on all four wheels. Spoiler, sunroof, you name it she has it. I gave it a 4 for comfort because the Track has sport handling and suspension and you feel like you are in a race car not a limo. It's all part of the experience to me, so I'm happy with it. I haven't found one vehicle that could keep up with me, and I quite enjoy the looks that I get because everyone keeps trying to figure out what it is. The most frequent thing that I hear is "THAT'S a Hyundai?". I've owned a new 2005 Hyundai Elantra previously, and the craftsmanship was so poor that I almost refused to look at Hyundai's again. Boy, I'm glad I did because Hyundai has reinvented themselves with this vehicle, and as long as they keep it up I will be a Hyundai owner forever.

Sports coupe for the right price - Genesis Coupe
Just for starters I will say this is the first ?sporty? car that I have owned. Prior to the Genesis Coupe I had a ?95 Chevy Lumina (which was a piece of junk) and a ?03 Chevy Cavalier. I gave Chevy the opportunity to impress me with the re-released Camaro, but fell short in the driving experience (it felt like I was in a tank). I also looked at 370z, G37, and Mustang in the same price range, but the 370z would have only been the base for the same price of the Track version of the Genesis Coupe, the G37 had already been placed out of my price range and the Mustang? I want to be a little bit more unique than a Mustang. After reading many reviews and test driving I went the Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track w/ Auto Tran in Lime Rock Green. Exterior: I must say that you either love or hate the green and only certain cars can pull off this color, which this car does brilliantly. The lines of this car are great and with the red Brembo calipers seen through the 19? wheels make this car look even better. The cosmetic spoiler on the back gives this sporty car an even more aggressive look to it. One disappointing factor that is easily over looked the front badge that has been placed on a dark gray grill that is made out of plastic. It has the appearance to look a touch cheap, but doesn?t show too much next to the phenomenal look of this sports coupe. Interior: The seats are surprisingly comfortable, but still offer the bolstering needed if you want to take that next turn a little faster than the car next to you. The front driver?s seat is powered and both front seats are heated and get toasty quick, which come in handy here in Cleveland. All four seats, steering wheel, and gear shift are wrapped in black leather which looks and feels first-class. On the steering wheel are the controls for the radio, Bluetooth phone connection and cruise control which allows you to keep both hands on the wheel where they belong and still gives you access to all the electronic features you need. The navigation system looks extremely nice seated in the center. Right above the navigation system is instant torque and MPG which is another nice touch. The only thing I would have liked to see different is the black plastic that is used on the interior. I can?t pin point what I would have preferred them using, but something with a little more quality would have been nice. The 2010 models use the brushed aluminum look for the buttons and controls for the electronics which in my opinion looks better than the black that they switched to for the new 2011s. Performance: This sport coupe is a quick nimble mover. Give it some throttle and it will respond in kind with quick acceleration and an exhaust note to match. Take it around a corner at speed and it will keep flat and make you feel confident enough to do it again. Press down on the brake pedal and the Brembos will quickly bring you to a stop. The ride is a little stiff as to be expected out of a sports coupe, but not so stiff that you will want soak your butt in ice after every drive (granted I bought mine used w/ 500 miles on it and I think it was returned because the `wife? it was bought for didn?t enjoy the stiff suspension). I am very impressed with this car and with 306hp with regular gas, how can you go wrong. Yes, you can go out and find a faster, higher performing car, but bang for your buck, it is difficult to over look the Hyundai Genesis Coupe. The Koreans have really got this car right and are giving those looking at the Nissan 307z and Infiniti G37 an option of a more affordable sports coupe and those who don?t care for the new `retro? cars and option to speed by them with.

Genesis Coupe 2.0T
I've had the car a month and I'm really liking this vehicle. The pick up is great and the looks of car are awesome. I'm 50+ years old and wanted a sports car without paying the big sports car price tag and I really got everything I wanted. Mine's a manuel and it's just fun to drive. I've own other sports cars and Hyundai has come a long way. Recommended!

2010 Genesis Coupe Track Edition 3.8
Incredible car! Great fun to drive, LOTS of power. Exceptional handling. The stiffer suspension of a sport coupe is a dramatic change from my old sedan but I have no regrets! All the power and performance of an expensive sports car without the expensive part.

Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2010 3.8 cheaply made
Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2010 Review First of all I need to say that I used to love this car but maybe I am easy to please. The care is sexy and fast but car is apparenty made with cheap parts that are extreamly overpriced. I found out the hard way. Here is my story. I was on my way home in my Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track Model, and went over a speed bump at an odd angle and heard a small scraping sound under the car and thought nothing of it. To my horror the next day I noticed a pool of oil like substance under my car. It wasn't a huge pool. I went to the "Place where i have my oil changed and the technition said. "You cracked your transmission pan somehow" and it is made out of plastic. I looked at it also and yes it was plastic. I couldn't beleive that a car this nice would have such a cheap part in such a vurnable location. Plastic fine but under the car? So I called the towing service and had the car towed to the Town and Country Hyundai Dealership in Oregon City Oregon. This is where I purchased the car. The first thing I asked was " Is this covered by the warranty? The answer "NO". I reviwed the warranty and it is considered damage. So no it wouldn't be covered. I thought to myself ok. I will pay for this even though it was a defective cheap part and this should have never happened. They took the car and I had to wait a day just to get a quote. I was expecting around $300 to $500 at the most as this part is normally $100 to $150 in most cars per the research I did. Well I finally got the call back and they said the pan cost $700 dollars and the fluid costs $70 a quart and with labor the price will be 1239.00. I was in total shock and very angry. This is plain and simple price gouging and is bad business. So my advice: Don't buy Hyundai cars as they apparenty price gouge and their cars are made from cheap plastic parts that they charge 7X what the actual price is.
