I will never part with my Santa FE, it is the most reliable car. Definitely the biggest bang for the buck.

I bought my GLS Santa Fe brand new in 2007. At almost 50,000 miles it still remains the most trouble-free vehicle I've ever owned. I came from an Accord needing an SUV and purchasing a Santa Fe was the best decision I've ever made. It is such a well built vehicle and is alway impressing me with its quiet ride, smooth powertrain, and easy to live with size. I recommend it to anyone looking for a mid-size SUV. Even though it is the base model, it still has a very high quality look and feel, and people are always comparing it to the Lexus RX in terms of driving experience (come to find out Hyundai used it as an example when developing this vehicle.) I couldn't be happier and will definitely buy another one should the occasion arise.

We have really enjoyed owning the 2007 Santa Fe SE because it is really a well-built SUV. It rides really smooth, gets average MPG (18-22), gives you a nice high view of the road ahead, and looks great. However, the road noise of the tires is annoying at first but that sound soon goes away once you turn on the powerfull stereo. We also love the optional 3rd row seating for our kids. My wife has had two accidents in this car and our children were never hurt so it was definitely worth every penny. The only problem we had was the battery went out after 3 years. The engine runs like a V8 even though it is a V6 and it goes very fast when accelerating when you need it. We feel safe and secure with this vehicle. Plenty of safety features and a solidly built vehicle. The steering is so tight it is hard to drive other vehicles because they feel so loose. We would definitely purchase this car again.

The first 2.5 yrs of owning my new Santa Fe were great. It handles like a car, has sufficient room for 2 adults, 2 kids and a dog. Have the base model, and think the upgrades would have been worth it for longer drives. Better lumbar support, steering wheel controls, back up monitor would have been nice. Now we moved overseas, and last month I started having electronic problems (ESC off, check engine light).. thus far (5 trips to dealership) no exact solution. The mechanic suspects the fuse box (like in another Hyundai), he rigged it until a replacement part arrived and it worked...for a few days. Now even with the box replaced, we are back at square 1. Even more disappointing is the US customer service. First online response took over 2 weeks, telephonic hold was over 45 min (no overseas press 7 quick option), and bottomline: because we are outside the US the renowned warranty does not apply. SOL. Would never buy a Hyundai again. I like reliability and good customer service!!

Good looking vehicle. Nice features for the money. Drives more like a truck than expected. Gas mileage not great but has the get up and go you should get from a v6. If gas milage isn't an issue I would recommend this to anyone.

This SUV rides better than the CTS we owned previously and is much more adaptable to everyday projects.

You a pay lot less for more on this vehicle. This vehicle has excellent features, it drives nice and great styling.

Me and my wife just purch. the Hyundai Santa Fe. We have only had it for a few days now but are already in love with it. It is very quite on the road and also rides very smoothly. I would recommend this SUV to anyone looking for a mid sized SUV.
