Saved my life.

This is my second one. My first one was totaled in a accident when I was t-bones by a man who ran a red light. This car saved my life. It has the most amazing air bags in the seat. I shouldn’t have walked away from the accident and yet my injuries were not major. I will only ever get a Hyundai Santa Fe. I am a customer for life. I highly recommend them.

Defective motor that Hyundai won't stand behind

Recall on motor is in simple terms, wrong sized bearings on shaft. The recall has them retune the motor so that when the shaft does fail, it puts the motor into a decreased power, get to Dealer mode...But if you have a catastrophic failure, Hyundai warranty stops responding to emails and Dealer takes no ownership. I bought 3 at the same time for business.

Some Parts & Design Flaws.

My first Santa Fe was a 2009, a great car. My (2013) Santa Fe only has 43,000 miles, but has some issues. The key fob cases are not very durable. The flexible coupler (rubber disc) in the steering column had to be replaced. A hose to the front a/c condenser was replaced recently, the new hose was re-designed. Great car for city or highway, but wondering what's next.

Great ride, safe driving, good looking vehicle.

Love my Santa Fe I would buy another, with moon roof. The only negative is the service center. After sitting in the waiting for an hour and half, I was told they needed permission to to fix my car, they were not sure if it was covered.....while waiting to here, I went to another service center (unrelated to Hyundai) waited two hours. They told my to bring my Santa Fe back to the dealership, they claim: according to the computer, it should be fixed for free. I called the dealership in MyrtleBeach, I have an appointment for tomorrow. They are going to look at it again. Please help! I’ve heard it’s ABS and tire speed issue.

HeadACHE

Sante Fe Sport blew it's oil line. We paid to replace. The following week the ABS sensors failed. We took the car to the delearship to see if these second issue was covered by warranty. At the delearship we are notified of the Engine Recall. Engive is replaced by dealer. The new engine fails. The car is now in our driveway and we are waiting for the next step of getting rid of this Hyundai forever. I hope Hyundai pays us sticker price to take this xxx back. I likely have 60 years left on this planet and NEVER will I EVER buy another car from Hyundai.

First time at the mechanic after 222k

This is my second Santa Fe after initial experience with a 2005 model which was still working good in 2015 until someone crashed into it. Then I opted for a 2011 model which I also used for rideshare. The first user put about 60k on it. It's approximately 3 years now and after 222k I had a first trip to the mechanic. I am impressed and would likely stay loyal to Hyundai.

Worse vehicle ever

This vehicle was purchased with 40000km from a dealership and still had manufacturer warranty. I purchased it to go on trips with my kids but unfortunately it spends more time at the garage than on the road. Does not start half the time and dealers cannot figure out why all the do is guess work. Hyundai refuses to acknowledge the problem. After some research I found out it is an ongoing issue with this vehicle and yes I did research the vehicle beforehand it just seem like this issue just hit all the owners within the past two years
