2016 Hyundai SANTA FE consumer reviews

Have had this Santa Fe ultra limited for 2 years it has all the options available in 2016. This SUV has been on several trips gas mileage is about what EPA quotes we love this rig

It is a great vehicle. It’s spacious, comfortable and fun to drive. It is easy to park and has a great navigation system. I highly recommend it.

It has all the bells and whistles we wanted and more! Its sporty and rides and handles great. The gas mileage is as advertised. We’re very pleased with it.

I own 2 Santa Fe sports both have Continental tires and they are the worst tire I have ever used. Other then that it's a great car.

I bought this vehicle, because I had rented one in Colorado, was going up the million dollar hwy towards Telluride when I had to pass an RV pulling a vehicle doing about 40. Floored the Sante Fe and had hit 85 when I finished passing. Altitude was approx 11000 ft on an uphill grade. Was impressive. I have had the vehicle for over 4 years, no mechanical or electronic problems. Very reliable.

Exactly what I was looking for in a used SUV. This is my third Hyundai and I’ve been happy with every purchase. Buy a Hyundai!!

We have 6 months with our White SantaFe, We travel like 90 miles daily, this 6-cyl. is a gas guzzler. Fill the tank every 2 days... we got now a Honda HRV to take the pressure out of the Hyundai...

The car was okay. The only problem it doesn't givin low oil warning signs at all. You Will end up buying new engine. Very shifty

Issues are very poor with the exterior lighting, headlights, brake lights and turn signals that we have ever had on any car! Excuses are the lighting harness...being told that replacement was $3,500. This issue started when our 2016 was under warranty and has continued...Sought opinions of "Certified Mechanics" outside of Fitzgerald's Hyundai, Clearwater, FL when this issue was never addressed by dealership! 3 different repair shops all told me the same thing. Hyundai/Dealership have known about issue. It's ironic that we were never given the reason a out the wiring harness until after the warranty was up. When was it really known? The certified mechanics said that they had heard about and dealt with this issue years ago. Harnesses were made with faulty wiring, improper size. With Halogen lights, heat burned up the pigtails/wiring. Lightbulbs themselves never burned out, just only created wiring issues. Very unhappy to the point of not trusting Hyundai and looking for other models. I thought what Volkswagen did was shameful but this unspoken issue us worse. Thankfully other makes/models are out there to purchase. A battery for $200+ every 2 years is a smaller issue that is also ridiculous! Once we rid ourselves of this vehicle, my wife will,smile again...

Car us great. Looks good. Drives smooth. Would have liked power seats. Do not like back up camera on rear view mirror. Good gas mileage.
