Great Car for the Money

I have driven Subaru Outbacks but needed a larger vehicle with good power but also good fuel economy. My Santa Fe fits the bill. The V6 gets 28-30 mpg highway driving (except winter in MN). It's roomy and the back seats fold down easily when I need room for biking, camping or kayaking. I can also pull a boat or utility trailer with ease.

Loved this car

We loved the Santa Fe so much. It was comfortable, well thought out interior, nice exterior, fun to drive. It fit our needs perfectly until we had another child and had to squeeze another carseat in. We often travel, so with all our little people and their stuff, we needed to get a bigger car. But I really, really miss our Santa Fe.

Dependable and Classy

A lot of perks for an affordable price. Lots of leg room and storage from front to back. GREAT warranty and a very classy looking vehicle. (Mine is white with black leather interior)

All over the road and no pick up.

Acceleration was horrible when getting on the highway. Interior was too small. I felt like my head was touching the ceiling. I am 6 foot tall, and felt cramped in this vehicle, especially in the back seat.

Extremely good value for the money

I looked at the comparable Kia model, but the base model of the Sante Fe had more features than the base model of the Sorento for very similar prices. I love how solid sound it is. Not much road noise at all, it is quieter than expected in the cabin. I just has a very solid feel overall. Milage has been great as well, on out last road trip, we averaged over 27 mpg going 80+. We are very please with it so far. It has plenty of room for a car seat and plenty trunk space.

Not a bad SUV.

I test drove this vehicle while searching for a second car. I was hesitant but had nothing to lose by trying it out. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of bells and whistles in this car. Features like Eco drive, many controls easily accessible on the steering wheel, wood grain, cd changer just to name a few. Dislikes were the tan interior and cloth seating but that's a personal choice. This is a good car for anyone that likes lots of features for a price that won't break the bank!
