TOPS THE COMPETITION HANDS-DOWN!

I used to drive Hondas, until I bought my first Sonata in 2004. The quaklity and value can't be beat. I bougt a 2006 GLS, and now own a 2009. Hyundai builds a phenomanal product. My 2009 has 175 HP, yet I am getting 38MPG at a steady 64 MPH with the air ON! The car looks great, runs great, and I've had ZERO problems. What else can you ask for?

Great Ride

This vehicle is the best ride I have been able to find. Looks and quality is in the Lexus, Acra, range. The ride is quite enough that at times you cannot hear the vehicle traveling on a good highway.

Good Buy, Looses Value. Boring.

General: Boring, reliable, comfortable, good initial value, horrible resale value. OK if you plan to keep forever, lousy if you intend to trade or sell within 3 years. Pro: Very good initial build quality. Reliable. Willing performer. Good warranty terms. Good stereo. Comfortable rear seats. Con: Terrible resale value. Boring to drive. Clunky suspension lousy road noise insulation. Balky auto tranny. Clicking in shifter Park lock-out. Spongy throttle response. Squeaks and rattle demons around front passenger area. Non-folding rear view mirrors. Weird Navigation voice ("St." = "saint"!) Expensive routine O&F maintenance. Honking requires remove hand from wheel grip.

I Have only had my Sonata for about 3 months now, so far of course no problems. I have had my first oil change as well with no problems, this is a car I plan on having until it is not drivable anymore and I have no doubts that it will last a very long time !!! Enjoy !

Sonata

Own toyota,Madza,Amc.Fords, This Sonata was the best price for my money,Handles as good as the others, a little better gas mileages. Only negative after 4 thousand miles driving down the highway is, When you open the windows the air infux is very very loud .which means you have to keep the window close so that it

Better than I thought.

I bought this car a couple months ago and every sense that day its been good. The sound system is bad, as in its really good. The V6 is very responsive too. It has really good gas mileage for a car that size. I went to San Antonio and back to Beaumont without filling the tank back up, so yea Hyundai really step there game up. Because they use to be horrible back in the day.
