Good car
DO NOT TRUST the AVG MPG reading the car give you. Every time I calculate the average mpg it's usually innacurate from anywhere between 3-7 miles per gallon and not in my favor. I only get 15-17 mpg around tow on ECO setting. I've complained time and time again to no avail. Othewise a great car if you don't mind getting terrible mileage around town

Hyundai Enthusiast
Purchased new 8 months ago. This car has been a very pleasant surprise. No problems. Excellent road trip car.Comfortable. Very nice gas mileage. High tech. Reliable. Tons of room. Very stylish. 3 free months of XM radio. Excellent road manners. After all this I even received a gift pre-paid card from Hyundai. I cannot say enough good things about my first Hyundai and I never thought I would own one.

So far so good at 2700 miles
I 've had my 2011 2.0 Turbo Radiant silver for about a month. Use it for work and I travel alot. It does pull a little to the left as I have seen other people comment on. I think the mileage rating seems a little high. I am averaging 31 mpg mostly highway with ECO mode on most of the time. Do not trust the trip computer regarding mileage. Mine reads 2.0 mpg higher than I am actually getting when I do the calculation. The mph gauge reads about 2.0 low when compared to my Garmin unit. I do get lots of comments on the styling and the turbo is great for passing. Overall, I am pleased and it seems a good value for the money. Cannot attest to reliability as I haven't had it that long. First routine oil change coming up.

Excellent value
My shopping came down to the 2011 versions of: Sonata, LaCrosse and Acura TL. The Sonata Limited Turbo provides 274hp froma turbo 4 cylinder as compared to the others v6 engines. On a receent road trip I averaged 31.8 mpg with a best of 33.8mpg on some highway stretches. No way any v6 powered car is going to return those mileage figures. The Sonata also came in about $6G under the price range for a comparable Buick and $8G under the Acutra. The turbo model of the Limited does come with the "sport" tuned suspension, which is comparable to that of the Acura and no way as cushy as the Buick. I've been really pleased with te build quality and reliabilty of this car. My few complaints are that there is no memory seating available and the Radio/Navigation screen has very minimal brightness adjustment and seems way too bright at night, at the lowest posssible setting. I'm considering installing window tint on it to tone it down! LOL I would gladly tell anyone to consider the Hyundai Sonata for their next new car purchased. Heck, I traded in a Toyota and have not been dissappointed. Happy Motoring!

You had me at "GLS"
Limited turbo Months ago I had a GLS Sonata as a loaner while my '05 Tucson was in the shop for maintence. I loved the Sonata and the search was on! (Should note here that I had the Tucson for 6 years and 124,000 miles with only 2 minor mechanical repairs- so Hyundai reliabilty is a given for me) At 48 years old my goal was to have a sedan with a luxury feel, space for my eldery parents, but yet sporty looking without screaming "Mid-life crisis". The Sonata Limited Turbo with my added lip spoiler and pin stripe was the answer. Awesome smooth ride and incredible pick up. the Inifinity stereo with Xm is a real treat. Fit and finish inside (love the soft feel of the dash) is as nice as my girlfriend's Lexus. I also test drove the Reclusive Kia Optime EX-turbo and both versions of the Buick Regal. But I kept coming baack to the Sonata. My girlfriend drives a Lexus IS250 and has had 2 BMW's in the past. She was amazed by this car and her reaction cinched my decision. Now my Lexus driving girlfriend has a bad case of " Hyundai Envy". !

Awesome!
I have exclusively been a Honda Accord guy since 1990, and very satisfied with their product. When I decided to buy a new car, I immediately gravitated toward the 2011 Accord EX. After driving it, it was what I expected, but my wife commented that the styling was bland. I did some research and test drove the 2011 Sonata turbo. Never considered the Honda again. It took some time to get the car I wanted. I ended up buying it about 200 miles from home, but it was worth the trouble. It is quick, nimble, and satisfied my wife's style requirement, not to mention at considerably less expense than the Accord. The only cons so far is that the satelite radio seems more prone to loosing signal than on prior cars, and visibility, when backing up, it somewhat limited. The long term reliability is a question; time will tell.

Sonata 2.0 Turbo: Best Car for the Money
As an owner of a 2.0T SE, I have to tell you it is the best car for the money on the market today. I'm a writer and researcher by trade, and also happen to be a car enthusiast - a ticket collecting enthusiast if I must be honest. People often come to me for car purchasing advice, in both determining what the best vehicle for that individual is, as well as negotiating the best price. First of all, I always tell my friends when you buy a car, buy the engine first and foremost. The engine is the heart of the car, and you simply cannot find a better 4 cylinder engine, in terms of quality, design, components, power, and efficiency, than Hyundai's Theta II. Anyone who knows a thing about cars just needs to hear this one fact: 274 hp, 269 torque, and a combined 26 MPG (22/33). The power to MPG ratio is UNREAL, and the fact that this thing runs on REGULAR gas in just icing on the cake. The first thing I expected with this car was serious torque steer, as the Sonata Turbo has a tremendous amount of horsepower going to those two front tires. The electronics do a fine job of negating any torque steer, but as a result the steering is on the firm side. The handling is by no means sluggish (actually its great), but due to the power behind the wheel there is a degree of driver involvement. The torque in this car comes on so quickly, there is hardly any turbo lag at all - and seems almost like a great diesel engine in that regard. If there is one knock on the engine, it can sound a bit harsh sometimes, but that's a small negative considering this is a pretty big car, that gets great MPG, and has power on tap. The interior is very nice (and I've had Audi's, VW's, and an Infiniti G37) - and competes with all of these in terms of build quality. The trunk is big enough for all of your friends golf clubs and could probably even serve as decent living quarters if this economy continues to tank. All in all, you can't find a bigger, better, more powerful, more fuel efficient car for $25,000. This car is easily the best value on the market. I'll just say this - if BMW bought Hyundai tonight, they would replace the badge on this car and nothing else, and sell it for $45,000. But it wouldn't have a ten year bumper to bumper warranty like my Hyundai does!
